Yes, because police have nothing better to do than set up elaborate framings so they can beat up people they don't like... Tell me, just how easy would it be to frame someone for leading police on a car chase through a busy area? Seems pretty hard to do...
Also, how is my comment flamebait? Because you don't agree with it? Seems like calling someone's comment "stupid" falls more into the category of flamebait:P
Quite frankly I'm of the opinion that police officers should be allowed to beat the crap out of someone who leads them on a dangerous chase, endangering the lives of the officers and of innocent civilians. You can't even claim "innocent until proven guilty", since they obviously saw the person engaged in the act. Why do we spend so much time worrying about the "rights" of people who endanger the lives of others... To my mind you sacrifice your own rights when you choose to do something like that, and deserve a good beating.
We should load up on weapons and ammo, grab some gang members, steal a car, sleep with a few hookers, then drive down to Rockstar HQ and beat them up with a baseball bat until they release the game.... but maybe that's just GTA3 talking.
I wouldn't expect the common person to understand this, but it's something you learn in business school: You put your key programmers on the project that's LEAST important. Trust me. It all makes sense.
I think they should consider replacing the current series of tubes with something that more closely models a big truck. That way I wouldn't have to wait until next Thursday to get an internet from my office.
Dear USA,
Please keep your ideas to yourself, and leave my country alone. It's better this way. Just because you're miserable doesn't mean you have to go spoiling things for the rest of us.
Sincerely,
Canadian
Couldn't they make it the Winter of code? That was programmers could use the summer to maximize their sun exposure over the 2-3 days/year they spend outside!
I've been using FL Studio (formerely Fruity Loops) for years and it's great, plus it has many add ons available. I've looked for an equilvalent for linus but they don't really exist. I even tried running FLS under wine, but I couldnt get it to work. Someone who's a bit more savvy than me might be able to do it though:P.
Think of all the new, young, innocent minds which will now come under the evil Video Game industries diabolical sway! Steps must be taken before this menace of menace unleashes a doom more terrible to imagine, perpetrated by our own hypnotically deranged children!
Yeah, I was wondering how statistically significant this even is. I think reporters should be made to give links to the actual study so that people can investigate the underlying numbers.
Am I the only one who thinks that, maybe, they should concentrate first on, you know, actually repeating the thing they only managed once... over 30 years ago... namely, putting a man on the moon. That would be a more realistic goal, I think.
O'Reilly went on to describe the new PS3 and Wii as "a series of tubes". Spokepeople from Nintendo responded angrily that this only applies to a small portion of their games.

...27 people were brutally killed today in a barrage of caustic wit and irony. Prime suspects are satirists Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.
I wonder if/how they modeled the ability of the brain to grow annd develop, form new connections over time?
Hmm, yes... scamming the IRS... ALWAYS a good plan.
It was a joke... Im sorry, I should have added a [/sarcasm] html tag...

Maybe now everyone will stop Wine-ing. :D!
Don't people play games to experience a different world? DO we really want the same weather outside reflected in game?
I for one welcome our new automated race-car overlords.
But will this computers have the ubiquitous CSI "Picture Enhance" feature?

Am I the only one who immediately thought of the Homing Pigeon bomb from Worms Armaggedon?

"To pull a Homer": To succeed despite idiocy
But I was gonna go into Toshi Station to pick up some power converters!
Shouldn't that be full-tube?

Sounds awful...
