  1. Filler on Final Season of Battlestar Galactica Confirmed · · Score: 1

Last year was full of filler episodes. It started with 2 or 3 good episodes then filler with some mention of the continuing plot line and the last 3 episode with the shocking finally. The kind of finally made like they had no clue if they were going to be picked up or not.

The writers when they are on track are good but theres only so much you can do without making this into Voyager.

I baught vist Ultimate because it was what supposed to be the replacement for windows XP Pro. Funnything is that it does not have IIS and many other functionality. So i'll have to install Apache and MySql. Exactly why did I buy Vista?

They hide all kinds of stuff. The OS is really not user friendly. The search function keeps getting harder and harder to use. I don;t know find this here to me was simple.

  5. Plus ca change on NY Governor to Target Violent Video Games · · Score: 1

    plus c'est la meme chose.

After every shooting they always go for the game/movie industry instead of actually looking at what the problem was. It;s always who can we blame or sue.

The pressure of an academic carrer is quite intence. Money/Job + Studying can be quite taxing. But no one will look on how to improve the life of a student just how we can stop so called outside bad influence. There needs to be a fundamental change in how we think and how we live. I know it;s quite a Star Trek ideology but it's a good one. We have to strive to improve the quality of life so that everyone can feel some sort of accomplishment. So lets start with the schools. Make them free, lets offer more tuitions. Help for students who needs it.

This has nothing to do with all the pre-fab music being pushed by the record companies. All the cloned group.

There s no place on the radio for artists who have rights to their own music anymore.

All it is one hit wonders force fed to the masses. I have not purchased a CD in years. Recently I purchased the Rush R30 DvD (Awsome DvD).

When did this happen? How did he force you to do anything? He made a product that was cheap and good enough. Companies baught it. They baught the cheap IBM's with pc dos instead of the more expensive Apples. He made it simple (DOS) to install. It sold. And the sold tons while the other companies sat in the corner with their righeous smirks saying they were better than him. Yep they were right, they were better. They were also more greedy.

This is like saying that the girl was a little pregnant. You are or you're not. As far as MMO there can not be any gray lines here. There will always be people who will try to push the line further if you start permitting any action that you deem unacceptable to the game.

It might be over the top by Blizzard but it's the only action that they could have taken after they discovered the botting.

We use MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle and DB2.

Out of all of these product, the best DBA we have is an Oracle guy. He really knows his stuff. It is the smoothest and easiest to program for because he can answer the questions we ask. He's also a really good programmer, so he can debug the stupid mistake done by the contractors(Ok, I might have made some dumbass stuff myself).

If I had my choice, I'd use Oracle everywhere and promote him to manage it all. He has shown me that no matter what you use, it;s only as good as the support you get from your DBA.
