You must type quite fast with such a lengthy first post. The mysterious future isn't usually all that 'future'. Or all that 'mysterious' for that matter.
I've also been a Trillian user for a couple of years, and am quite happy with it. The only problems i really have are related to reconnection after idle-timeouts... Anyone else have these same issues?
An improvement? Maybe.
Foolproof? No.
DNS poisoning is still just as prolematic, and appended URLs (i.e. www.mybank.bank.badurl.com) will still fool *some* people.
It seems that today's judges are the looniest of all. This Judge is a plaintiff in a RIDICULOUS case, where he is suing a dry cleaner who lost his pants... To the tune of $67 Million. Simply amazing.
I believe the whole reason that an AP can be set up to broadcast it's SSID is TO MAKE IT VISIBLE AND ACCESSABLE TO ANYBODY. That's the whole point of broadcasting SSID's!
If you're referring to the incidents that happened ~September 1st 2006, that turned out to be a phishing attack. (Despite my best attempt to google some links to some proof of this, I can't seem to find any. Conspiracy?)
Take a quick look at this picture : http://flickr.com/photos/orbitrix/445285479/... Check out the benefits of owning a "Windows Vista Capable" machine. Pretty sweet, unless you want to, umm, use an application.
The flat-panel antenna is much lower gain than a standard Sat Dish (I don't have the figures to prove this, but it seems pretty self-explanatory), so I'm assuming the receiver has to use a lot more gain to get the signal to an acceptable level for processing. This could account for at least some of the additional power consumption. How much? I couldn't tell ya.
I still get hung up on 'alot'...
Just noticed your sig. Agreed.
Hahahahaha.... Good one.
Best.Troll.Thread.Ever.
Not to call you out on it, but I do believe you are the lone, sole AOLuserSlashdotter. That is pretty sweet tho.
Your post was kindof obfuscated.

Well done.

I'm amazed it took so long for that post.

I just got it. Funny.
Nothing screams "I'm Important" like screaming into your cellphone, "I'm Important!".

I personally don't understand why everybody hates DRM so much. Let's consider the needs of the handicaped for once.
I'm just trying to mentally picture LAX or ORD with several thousand people each hooked up via a 100ft ethernet cable...
Are we going to be seing Larry, Eric and Sergey managing a Dairy Queen anytime soon?
