If by "Israeli's just want to get on with their lives" you mean "Israel just wants to continue the decades long program to annex the desirable parts of Palestinian land without the non-Jews" then you're totally right.

Israel left Gaza three and a half years ago. Other than providing them with fuel, water, and electricity (for FREE) Israel has had no involvement with Gaza, other than retaliating for rocket strikes. Until two weeks ago, that retaliation was usually limited to simply withholding the free fuel, water, and electricity.

Ares V isn't quite as bad as Ares 1, but that's only because they share very little in common.

Actually, for manned missions Ares V is worse: it isn't even rated for manned missions! The humans would launch on an Ares I and then dock with whatever launched on the Ares V in orbit.

If you read those biblical passages closely, you might notice that we were called to have dominion over the animal kingdom. Can't have dominion over something if you've hunted it into nonexistance.

"Domain" over the animals implies that we act responsibly towards them, just as kings who have domain over their subjects must act responsibly.

It would be hard for one who has the moral conviction that human life is not superior to animal life to live a morally consistent life. How could they justify eating meat, that would be tantamount to eating a fellow human's flesh.

That is why God gave us dietary laws, Hadid (Muslims) and Kashrut (Jews). I do not understand why the Christians do not obey the dietary laws.

You can't put labels on the cards because then they bind in the devices. But you can write on them with a black marker.

SD cards support a physical name for their top level directories. Give them each a name in a series (For instance: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, ...) and make a text file listing which card belongs to what. This doesn't only have to work for SD cards, we do this for our USB flash media as well.

Rackspace is worse than Microsoft in security (not an issue for encrypted data), reliability, and in customer service.

Sure, for the university internal network pulse-only is fine. The public lines are tone, in fact, many people are moving to VOIP (my family included).

I had no idea that Africa had 40% cellphone penetration. I suppose that the low frequency bands that have wide reception areas might be cheaper to build and maintain than fragile landlines. But that is only last mile, I wonder what technology connects the towers to the network.
