  1. Oh great. on CodeWeavers Releases CrossOver 6 for Mac and Linux · · Score: 4, Funny

Cue millions of little stupid youtube videos titled "******** running on a MAC POWERBOOK using Crossover".

    Oh wait. They're already there.

Let's take an example from the REAL world...

Let's say you want to enter a building. Theoretically, it'd be faster to enter the building if you wait for the door to rot, as there are no brain cycles involved in having to open the door. It also solves the "dependency hell" of unlocking the door with a key you don't have.

Truly the best Distro out there.

    I'm sorry I had to! :D

  3. Good thing I have practice! on Chip & PIN terminal playing Tetris · · Score: 1

I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't mind having to play B-Mode Level 9 for a quick $40. More fun than the previous models with the "number game". Maybe a little siren could go off and you'd get a free lolly. And it better be cherry, too.

I have a feeling it won't be quite so cut and dried with Vista though.

Why? Never underestimate the power of piracy. Remember how "secure" WinXP was supposed to be? in a few weeks, a WPA killer was already making the rounds? WGA killers ABOUND.
Piracy has been around forever and always will. A huge company in Redmond won't be changing that.

I know this is redundant as all hell, but where the fuck did this school of thought come from that you can blame someone's every action on external stimuli?

  20. Re:Taco: Please Start Using Intel's New Logo, Huh? on Intel To Include Draft 802.11n In Centrino · · Score: 0

I think the new logo sucks, to be honest with you. It's just another company following the "change how everything looks to be cool" school of thought. Don't believe me? let's take a look at the products/companies/food chains doing this in the last... say.. 8 years:
    Intel
    m&ms
    Captain D's
    Atlantic Records
    The Microsoft Windows logo
    Apple Computer's logo
    Pepsi
    Visa
    Sprint
    British Petroleum
    ATI
    Sears
    Federal Express
    Burger king

Now, I know that a lot of these aren't at the same time, but I can list 5 off the top of my head that did change logos in the same 6 month period.
