    How about instead of Walgreen's, recreational drugs were sold and used at regulated "drug bars"? There's a whole spectrum of options between completely banned and the aisle of Walgreen's.

    I would add a regulation that recreational drugs have to be consumed on the premise that they are sold on. Having "drug bars" where people can buy and use in a regulated environment would pretty much eliminate most of the problems, such as minor obtaining regulated substances.

    He's going to attack McCain. The role of attack-dog isn't against the other running-mate, its against the other candidate. The real question is how is Palin going to attack Obama? Say that he has no experience?

    Vietnam was over 30 years ago and the Democratic involvement was over 40 years ago. The individuals who made those decisions are out of politics or dead. Parties change platforms all the time. A significant example is when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act and the Dems went from being Dixie-crats to progressives.

    The experiment is to keep looking for more planets systems. If those new planet systems do not follow the rules of this new theory, then the theory has been shown to false. What could be more falsifiable than that? If the new planet systems do follow the new theory, then we might be on to something

    So you're complaining that they're following the scientific method? Its sounds like you have a problem with the most fundamental and successful strategy for advancing knowledge.

    Further, its not like Intelligent Design, because planetary formation models are a testable and falsifiable hypothesis.

    Elko, NV has 16,000 people and 5 active brothels.
    On a per capita basis, I think they've got Portland beat for dirtiness.

    Leaning sex from porn can be a really bad idea. There is a world of difference between good porn-sex and good real-sex.
    Sex in porn is meant to LOOK good on film. The people participating in porn are ACTING.
    Many "moves" that are great IRL are too subtle to show up in porn and many porn "moves" aren't that great IRL. Not that most /.ers ever experience the difference ;)
