    There is too many Game, too many Movies, too many Songs! Too much of everything, that's why we get bored very easily. I've seen and played it all at one time or another. When a new game comes out it's another remake of something else.

    I agree, the Wii IMO would be the best emulation console. It's small, quiet, lots of emulators, and the controllers are adaptable. This console can also play GameCube games, and the GUI is the coolest I've seen from any device.

    Ok, so there is less radiation spewing from Fukushima than Chernobyl, but Chernobyl was not leaking radiation into the ocean either! I think the Fukushima accident is much worse for the environment.

    Many people still use fax machines because it's easy and convenient to use. It's not the fault of users that we are still use old technology, it's the fault of the Tech industry. Companies should have been making Fax Copiers with new protocals that can send a fax over the LAN to another compatible Fax Machine. The other issue is that Fax Machines and Copies outlive most other technologies, they were built to last!

    I live in Maine and insulation is a big thing here in the winter. Buy one of these http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-TLD100-Thermal-Detector/dp/B001LMTW2S Go around the school, or class room and look for thermal leaks, ask students to find ways to solve these leaks. You can even map out areas that are most common to thermal leaks.

    Human's are just crude intelligent sentient machines. Once we understand how the Brain works we will be able to simulate the same intelligent and perfect it over a short time span. It took us million's of years for our brains to reach intelligence. We will create machines that can surpise us in just a fraction of that time (we won't have to wait thousands of generations for mother nature to make alterations).

    It all depends on how similar these aliens are to us. If they have bodies like us, and roughly similar in size, and have similar senses, they should see us as sentient beings. If they are nothing like us at all, we could be as sentient as an amoeba.

    Not only is distance a limiting factor in finding life, but time is also an issue. We've only exited as intelligent beings for a short span of time, and less than 100 years of transmitting radio signals. These aliens could have came and gone long ago. Besides, they may not even use radio as a means of communication. They may not have ears to hear sounds like us. They could be intelligent marine life, after all that's were life on earth started. I'm sure that if aliens wanted to find us, they would use trillions of probes to scan the galaxy of life.

    I purchased an Acer Aspire One netbook. They are great to travel with. I do a lot networking for local businesses so it comes in handy. You can purchase a touchscreen kit for these netbooks, it requires taking it apart to install. What ever you do, don't buy a netbook with a small ssd drive in it, get one with a hard drive.

    Ubuntu is not for idiots thats for sure. I think if your a first time computer user, Ubuntu would be far easier to learn than windows. Ubuntu comes with everything you need, and is easy to find and use. Even my dad who is 60 and has a difficult time trying to use the mouse finds it easier using Ubuntu. I use Ubuntu to do my classes online with Kaplan University, never had a problem so far.

    The presidents job should be like any other job. You hire someone based on their resume, what kind of experience and knowledge you have. I know that if I was going to apply for a security job, my experience in the military will be a big plus and should be considered, same goes for someone applying to be Commander in Cheif.

    Science never claims to have all the answers, but somehow religion does? The whole point of science is to search for answers, not make them up. Show me where religion has been right about anything? I have not found one single passage in the bible that accurately explains the world we live in.

    Sure, I can come up with a million different theories, but is it relevant? Why don't we just stick to facts and actual evidence instead of wild myths! If we start teaching ID, there will be no end as to who's right. I could claim that we are all living in a computer simulation, how can you prove it wrong? Let's just teach what we know, not what we think could be!

    What we are experiencing is a buble burst. This happens over and over throughout history. The county will get back on its feet because our infrastructure is strong and solid. America is much better prepaired to deal with crisis than any other nation. Look, we had a good for a long time, and we've been spoiled and now it's time for use to adjust to changes.

    I agree. I purchased the Wii Fit, and I did get a good workout after just 20 min. The thing I like the most, is the fact that it monitors your progress and weight each time you use it. You can actually see yourself losing weight. This motivates people to continue using it. My family loves using the Wii, and the Wii fit. My daughter loves doing the races with me. Nintendo has geared towards family entertainment and physical activity, its a great combination, and thats what makes the Wii so popular. Sony and Microsoft are trying to follow suit with Nintendo's popularity, but I doubt they will succeed. Nintendo has discovered a nitch, and I think we will see more interesting gadgets for the Wii in the years to come.

    I've done this same setup for my inlaws and it worked perfectly. This is what you need:
    Purchase any decent wireless router, I prefer linksys wrt54g, they can be configured with third party firmware. Two directional cantennas, can be purchased on ebay. two wifi signal amplifiers (Hawking HSB2), and connect the output to the cantennas. One of the amplifiers will connect to the wireless router, the other to your PC's wifi card. Connect the linksys router to your neighbors internet or his router. Make sure both cantennas are facing each other at both ends. With a clear line of sight, you should get a signal up to 1 mile. With trees, it should easly reach 500ft. As I said, I've done this for my inlaws and it travels about 800ft through dense woods.
