Thats totally fine - green energy is good energy! Legalize hemp for industrial use! ...But as long as this global warming thing isn't just a scheme to make money. You have to keep in mind that the US is perpetually in debt to the Federal Reserve... all these potential carbon taxes to 'cut back on global warming'... is just to pay off the Federal Reserve. Buncha crap!

  2. Re:In fact you should scrutinize it yourself on Temperature Data Wants To Be Free · · Score: 0, Troll

Anyone educated knows that the earth goes through warm/cold times corresponding with solar activity. Take a look at the sunspot data over the last 100 years; more sunspots = warmer temperature on ALL planets in the solar system.

It's no coincidence that the current administration is pushing 'Global Warming' as a key issue when their solution to Global Warming is to tax carbon emissions. I mean what other way to lower the planets temperature than to tax farmers for their cattles carbon emissions and raise the prices on food right?...right?

It's not the usability or functionality, that's all done (fairly) decently. There's little issues (eg: mail.app forces an SSL connection when connecting) which is really more of an inconvenience at when troubleshooting peoples mail problems. I troubleshoot mail/connection/server issues on hundreds of Mac's a month and have seen a lot of strange quirky bugs with mail.app. Issues with it not displaying mail, downloading mail from an IMAP subfolder repeatedly, extremely strange connectivity issues, issues with storing passwords on the keychain... I could go on and on, to be honest, it doesn't affect the majority of users - but it certainly effects enough users to keep me with a job. I generally just suggest Thunderbird, or for the Apple fanboys who refuse to part with mail.app when things can't be resolved, PostBox (PostBox) which is a retooled mail.app, offers some cool features though.

Think about it, it's following the progression of the net - primarily social media platforms. MySpace was the first big social media explosion, they had bullitens to send mass messages. Cue Facebook, they had status updates, remember "Joe Brown is..."? Twitter coming in as a 'status updater' is just following a growing trend. The retarded thing is, it's so stripped down that people often resort to public, shortened, grammarless conversations pretending like they're text messaging.

Source: I work at a company who opened a Twitter account, the general population online = assholes.

I say we quit pretending and come to terms with reality, this happened. It was a very real thing, a 'turning point' (using this term lightly) in American history.
