The biggest issue I see with working with different countries isn't the Time Zone, as you just base the Time Zone on the companies home location, and you just need to expect the employees to be working around home base time. So if the Company Home base is in New York, then if you are Chinese worker you still need to be available during Eastern Standard Time. But the biggest problem I have seen with Wide Remote Work across countries is differences in Cultures. If you have a Programmer working in India, they are working with Indian Culture, which will often clash with American Culture. However if you take the same person and move them to America, they are much more compatible, because they are operating within the US culture.

Yes Apple iTune services is in direct competition with Netflix, but using Apple Products (for those who like them) with Netflix, is a popular viewing method. Making Netflix harder to use on Apple Products, will make the product owners have to choose between getting new hardware, or switching services. Being that Netflix isn't in the business of selling Netflix boxes, that will mean a drop in customers for Netflix, as a good number (I expect 20%) would stick with Apple and Drop Netflix. Where if Netflix continued to play well with Apple Products, then there will be a smaller number of switchers where many would just buy into both services, and less would do a full switch.
The trick to Apples model is you have a physical device where there is an emotional attachment to, vs a service which you can drop without feeling bad about it.

Plus streaming sometimes forces us to stick to watching the shows we saw all the time, and never getting into something new.

That said, the biggest issue with Cable TV is the fact that there isn't much diversity on it. Just countless channels showing the same show all day.
It isn't like Cable TV 20/30 years ago. Where they had more diversity, even if they were less popular shows.

  6. Being an American company, there is a strong cultural bias towards free speech. Even though Constitutionally the First Amendment only applies to the government not companies. Americans in general have more tolerance towards "bad speech" while they may disagree with it, and condemn it, they often will not want to see it censored or banned. Mostly due to the fact that a lot of this is considered subjective, and can be used against your views in the future if your point of view is unpopular.

Now this is really an American value. Other countries, have a different tolerance on where the line should be drawn, this doesn't make them wrong, but some countries will draw the line much further to a point where banning political ideas that is opposing the party in power is considered harmful hate speech.

I actually like wireless charging, as most of the time a failure in my phone is often from strain from the charging connector, wireless charging reduces the stress on the phone.
However while I got it charging if I move the phone slightly it stops charging, or if I put it on the charger too off center it will not charge. It seems to me the physics of a mat wireless charger would be difficult to get it to work as it was advertised, Just a large mat and drop your device(s) on it and they will start charging. Sure I can see something that looks like a mat, but has 2 or 3 chargers in it. But then it is just multiple wireless chargers in one case, and you need to put your phone on the right spot.

But the point of this article, is try to find ways to detect this "Dark Matter" where we then can either show that it does exist and now it is observable (no longer being dark matter) we can study it further and see if its properties does indeed help fill out all the number to match our models.

What often makes it worse is when the guy brings us the broken equipment then just lies about the fact they had replaced it with a 3rd party part, and voided warranty. What makes it worse, is the fact that we state that it isn't under warranty, and they think we just want to do this because we get paid more. While the truth is doing Warranty repair is better for the business, because the company is timely in paying and we don't need to fight to get our payments, also most of the business was B2B having to do single customer fixes, we try to lower our rates a bit just to avoid negative reviews, as we don't expect them to come back again.
