That is actually a very good idea. With getting a high school education in the South, I know that many high schools do not properly prepare students for college and with summer classes generally being a bit easier it makes sense for lower GPA students to be transitioned into college without having to worry about settling in and having the full class load.

There is a lot of land out there as well. Sure some of the land is in the middle of nowhere, but there are also domain names that are in the middle of nowhere, such as hatksdnejr.com. The main point with domain names is to find names that people might want such as property that people might want and then sell it at a much higher price. That is the way an economy works, buy low sell high. It is just that with the internet things have shifted from macro-payments into micro-payments, so people can buy a lot of small things and then needs to sell a lot of them to get there profit. It is like a person buy a chunk of land and then selling it to a lot of developers.

Freedom is an ideal, like love. It cannot be explain, only felt. To try to explain it would not do it justice. As to where we get it, just look in a text book. We have fought for it, for ourselves and for all, at least we used to. As to the movie theaters, it is a voluntary action by the National Association of Theater Owners to prevent 17 year olds from seeing a certain movie. This is the freedom of the business to select who it allows to purchase what. These rules were voluntarily added. I do not see how these rules violate the constitution.

  20. Re:Censorship on GameStop's View of the Gaming World · · Score: 1

I would rather be with the business that were allowed to make their own rules. That is a little thing called "freedom". Any time the government forces regulations on people it nicks away at their freedom. Regarding safety, if a person does not feel safe working at a business, they can always quit. There are plenty of people willing to risk their lives for money and if there are not the business will fail and more safety regulated (internally) businesses will rise.

The gold farming starts with this, but the game developers have created ways to prevent bots, such as calculating the time each action takes, in bots actions are precise, while humans vary slightly. Also, when those don't work GMs ingame will bot patrol and ask gamers a question, to which if they do not respond they are flagged as a potential bot.

There are games, such as Guild Wars that do this, yet people seem to flock to the grind games. People like the fantasize that working hard has rewards, that they cannot find that method working in real life. They don't want to actually accept that certain people will hve advantages over others. A true way they can fix this is by introducing a little creation luck to the mix. Much like DnD where the character stats are randomly rolled, have special modifiers, such as gains extra exp or gold, but every modifier is equal and different and is somehow unable to be changed. This will create the specialization found in the real world. Also, while this method could work, there are still people that want to equal and use the communist ideal of hard work and time will be the ultimate glory.

A similar experience happened to me. I was playing Warcraft 3 for most of my free time(use map settings games but still equally sucking up my time). I had started working in a theatre and gained a new group of friends; I stopped playing video games, and so replaced the social aspect of my life. I only wanted to play when my old gamer friends would talk about it, but with my previous commitment I did not play. I now am done with the theatre, and due to a computer corruption, was left without access to games, thus eliminating all social aspects. I know that while game-life is a viable substitute for social interaction, real-life interaction is best.
