Everything is a business agreement. Not necessarily a religion. When ever you buy something, you pay in good faith that it's a good deal for you and so does the seller.
That goes for every single thing. When you get married, you believe you got a good person and seems like the other person agreed on that, if it sounds like a good deal for both then, both commit.
In religion, if you feel good with yourself and you find that a good deal, there's not a problem. In economics, as long as you don't go bankrupt, perhaps you don't find a problem. Then again, it all depends on how you feel and if at the end it was actually a good deal and represented any meaningful to you. The issue here, is having the power to make many people believe they are getting a good deal, when they are being scammed and in the end, you'll take all from them.
The problem is what they charge you for. Your logic implies that the more machines, the cheaper the stuff, which implies that machined will get cheaper and cheaper until everything will be free. I'm positive that providing stuff for free is not everyone's goals (particularly wealthy people owning big companies).
Furthermore, this implies that even if you can get very low cost devices, you have to figure how to pay to power all of them. And once you have that figured out, then taxes come along.
I hibernate it. If the headline was meant as the end of hibernation and a new era of powerless sleep, then it's fine. But I really see no correlation with reboots unless the memory was also leak proof.
And they are actually very smart. Since there are SO many expectations on the iPhone 5, and they don't have a fully cooked product, they will be releasing an iPhone 4S.
Marketing works both ways. It can convince you that all you want is playing angry birds instead of hi-resolution first person shooting games.
Then again, if the average people think playing Angry Birds is good enough for a mobile device, and just because it works, they shouldn't get anything better (and developers shouldn't be developing improved graphics and performance games), then they deserve what they get.
I for one defend simple games, but on the other hand, people have the right to have powerful devices capable of running better stuff.
Ironically, I see that kids are now getting a full set of gadgets including smartphones and iPads. I wonder if actually parents are looking into these devices to keep the kids busy and avoid their parental responsibilities.
The thing is, you can't make everyone happy. You can still threat them to get what you want.
So for your definition of power, sounds more like leadership, but power doesn't differentiate because the end goal for others to obey or follow.
Since you're not going to be able to make everyone happy due to differences in thinking and other very subjective matters, things turn to violence as a primary way of forcing people your way.
Then again about the whole news here, the problem is do you want one single person to be in charge of this system? Like, for example, the reincarnation of Hitler? Sounds like a great plan!
My take on the problem, is that this also relates to studio/network mentality, and that they want to keep both business models afloat by trying to cope with the networks and studios not being happy with the price they're getting from them.
Now, will this move work for them? I'm guessing Blockbuster is going to be gaining customers again.
Then what they need to show is how they are or not part of the problem. For what I know, they have solar panels they use to acquire power at their Googleplex. Another comment spotted that they built one of the biggest data centers close to a hydroelectric plant to be close to the distribution (my take is efficiency). So yes, they may be consuming a lot, but are they also consuming efficiently? And are they consuming out of fossil fuels? I think comparing to a number of houses it's odd because you don't even know what's the average home consumption. Is it a Texan ranch? or a Californian house? or a NY apartment? Doesn't say much sincerely.
In a turn of events, I'd assume that if you purposely leave a remote controlled light, you can also try to triangulate the one that shots at it. So, I'd be also be careful when shooting at a light that seems to be looking for me (and yes, there are developments for quickly tracking down the origin of a bullet in the night using IR as well).
For a long time I've been fan of tablets. And I always wanted the TZ series from HP. Despite the battery life, counting that it runs Windows, you get far more apps that necessary.
I don't understand that way of thinking. But by your words, I'm assuming that you don't have a bank account. After all, you just give them your money so they can lend it to someone else and charge them more money for lending them your money. They charge you if you're overdraft (of course they can slow down your withdraw such that you cannot withdraw too much in one day), they charge you other fees. Yet you still give them your money.
But when it comes to get better search results you feel offended because you gave them some clicks?
Hell of course the best business model is when you make people believe they are getting the best deal and you know you're getting a big cut as well!
I don't understand the reasoning. I don't know how it works in the app-markets sense, but Apple sees money also from people consuming media. What do Samsung/Motorola/etc. get from markets? Apple can sell an overprice product fairly cheaper because their money flow can compensate with the store one, but I don't clearly see what the other manufacturers can do to cut the prices down, if not adding more markets and segmenting Android even more.
Let me get it straight. They could have saved all this using a laptop or another device longtime ago, but they decided, the iPad would be the one for reading documents during Flight?
Intel and GE have a reader with certifications over reliability and some other stuff. And they picked an iPad?
I'm curious about what a manufacturer needs to do to: 1. Don't get crapware in their systems 2. Remove the Telco brand from their devices
To me is something that Apple asked to be done, but other companies won't. Why Samsung/HTC/Motorola/Sony have to put up with all that crap from ATT and Verizon, and Apple doesn't? Well that's something I completely don't understand.
You and your hate. You see, when I was a kid (I was probably 7 at that time), my dad by accident rented Hellraiser II because the guy at the video store thought it was good.
It was probably good, but I never saw it because after 20 mins into it (listen to me 20 MINUTES), everyone watching the movie was "WTF?" but nobody could believe it.
So while you may find this story entertaining and my dad couldn't care less about the movies he rented. I would agree that there is content that kids shouldn't be watching.
I don't mind watching disturbing stuff, and I was raised in a violent country. Does that mean that everyone should be pushed into watching Goatses because "Hey, it's not my problem"?
I don't agree with censoring, but I don't agree that all the content should be available to everyone IF i decide so. I think it's good that the mechanism is an opt-in, because if I don't want to see it, I should be able to be warned about that type of disturbing stuff, at least when I'm with my kids.
So if it's about hate.. then I hate you and people like you that think that because people think certain limits/tools should be available (not enforced) they are attacking your freedom. Well, I should get the right to decide what to block!
Double standard? Ok, yes I'm old already, so I don't find much on naked and crimes. But boy, one thing not on the summary that you bring here are medical images! Some of that stuff can't be unseen!
As much as I think that sex may not be appropriate for kids, I think many natural things are worse than that, like seen the arm of a fire-ants victim. Disturbing stuff!

OH, wait, they didn't change the name to better represent the ones passing the bill? My mistake.
By the way, who comes up with those folkloric names?
They should do it. They should block all (or at least corporate) access to internet, and blame the judge. Just to see where does it head to.

Are you nuts!? I'd have to change my TV remote if I do that!
Gee! I thought EA had already figured out a way for Apple to accept the EULA! I almost felt happy for 5 seconds.
Ironically, I see that kids are now getting a full set of gadgets including smartphones and iPads. I wonder if actually parents are looking into these devices to keep the kids busy and avoid their parental responsibilities.
Yet they claim is elegant. I don't see the elegance in sitting in ride full of distasteful experiences from previous riders.

Ever wonder why he splashes everyone, but nothing else seemed to become invisible. I guess it only acts on cells! Good finding.

What am I missing?
Let me get it straight. They could have saved all this using a laptop or another device longtime ago, but they decided, the iPad would be the one for reading documents during Flight?
Intel and GE have a reader with certifications over reliability and some other stuff. And they picked an iPad?
Sounds almost hilarious.

You wouldn't be reading TFA anyways. I see you also managed to actually read the summary before commenting! Outrageous!
WTH is that? I type ctrl-F and I advance one page in my magnificent editor. Want to search? Use /
What's all this people talking about?
