I believe it is because they restrict the drivers to their hardware only so it is hard to get it to work or even install on many computers with out the patch, or at least that is what I have been told.

  4. I hope they are secure on Amazon and Hardware As a Service · · Score: 1

I hope they set up some kind of system preventing the data used in the service from falling into the wrong hands, and by that I mean something above par. It will only take one successful hack of the system to make their business model come crashing down. Most of their potential business clients will only be willing to pay if they can assume that their data will remain secure with them as the only ones who can use it. Don't get me wrong I love the idea(although it is nothing new) but I hope they think this through.Just like windows is a prime target because of the potential loot this will likely be targeted.

    I can see it now:

Also by liking computers I was a little simplistic, what I meant to say was I enjoy code and the theory behind computers. I took an Intro to Computer Science class in HS and enjoyed it and that is what I have based my decision on.

I think that even if you force the security measures in place people will always find a way around it. People write their passwords on a Post-in note or tape it to their monitor. These security measures are good but definitely not perfect.
