Yes there is a secure mode. Microsoft wont admit it but there is a hidden secure mode for your computer. It is called Linux. They have many versions of this "secure mode". I personally uses the Ubuntu edition but you can find one that fits you best here.

Grif: In my plan I'm going to Alaska zombies have no body heat, they'll freeze like coprsicles. Its Brilliant.

My plan is to not notice anything that is wrong. I would try to save my family with a cricket bat then I would goto the Winchester bar and shot the zombies that try to hide quietly until I accidentally turn on the jutebox. Then I would wait for the calvary to charge in and shoot up the place.

Just read the usual replies on a pro-microsoft comment and it is proof that this is ridiculous. When will people learn that I could accuse anyone of doing anything and it wouldn't necessarily be worthy of a law suit. Lets say I accuse Hilary Clinton of selling her soul to the devil, but I never put out conclusive proof that she did. Now if she provided conclusive proof that she didn't, I would be obligated to withdraw my remarks or people will assume I am just trying to ruin her reputation. The only time I personally think the suit would stick is if they publicly provided evidence against this and she continued accusing them, but that is just my opinion and I am not a lawyer.

The iPhone didn't add much in the way of technology or features. All Apple did was add their Apple view of everything and added the 'i' to a very common word. There were phones that could do everything that the iPhone did before the iPhone was released. My choice for the invention of the year would have to be the Wii because Nintendo truly added a new idea to an already great thing.

Are other energy sources really so inconvenient that this is justifiable? It is the same reason someone venturing into the jungle alone might want one of these, you wouldn't need it in any normal circumstanced but it would be a great safety tool and just like the USA want to get rid of foreign oil dependencies I think the military would like to have alternative sources of power in case their power source is shut down or blown up. It might even be able to double as armor and even if it is never used it will have many other civilian applications.

Plus it is one step closer to a self powered HEV suit.
It is justifiable when the eco-loving anti-war people protest the war you can say at least it is eco-friendly :P

Unfortunately I don't think these will be able to make enough power to fully power a decent computer but it would be able to do small thing like civilian uses such as cell phones/PDAs or a more military application of radios which would be great in combat away from power outlets, but I really want the civilian use so I can enjoy this too! Must be expensive to produce though.
