And no buttons or Dpad to play any really good games. Stack a decked out Xbox 360 w/kinect against a low range PC, you get the same result. A comparison of apples and oranges.
Despite the hype, the iphone still is a superb piece of hardware/software. Hate on it all you want its a very nice piece of kit. I am an avid Palm Pre user and my next device will probably be android, but to say the iphone is for teenage girls is just stupid.
And it falls flat on its face in gaming except for a few genres. Any serious gamer would never pick a touch device over pretty much anything with buttons. I can play tons of meh shit on a mobile phone or I can play some really good games with buttons on my DS/PSP.
I have a Palm Pre Plus, and I love it to death. But almost NO ONE makes anything for it. I was honestly shocked that Angry Birds has a palm logo on their website.
The key operating word in my statement was 'would'. It was in response to the person above me and phrased using the knowledge of my country. IF this were to happen in the U.S., The IRS would consider it $10,000 income, modified by whatever windfall adjustments there are in the tax code. Thanks for being a troll and not bringing anything to the conversation but your ignorance and lack of critical thinking.
Does it overheat like crazy? I had a D830 i physically destroyed because i tried for YEARS to control the heat on it. I took it apart to see what i could do with thrermal paste or something and just decided to kill it rather then mess with it anymore.
The IRS would still consider that as $10,000 USD income, as that is the taxable value of the prize.

"My private property doesn't become yours to run once I open my doors to you. It's still mine. I still own it, pay mortgage and taxes on it. It is mine. It is not public property owned by the government and public taxpayers."
This is false on so many levels. By choosing to open your doors to the public, society has a vested interest in regulating your affairs from that point on in regards to your interactions with said public.

YOU cannot open your private property for business to the public without express sanction from a local governing body, you simply cant in almost all cases.
You ASK PERMISSION to allow that to occur. As part of the agreement to allow you to open an establishment to the public you agree to follow the law. The law has very specific guidelines on what you can and cannot do in privately held public spaces. It is YOUR CHOICE to open your venue to the public. Once you do that you are subject to the rules that are set forth for operations of that nature.
Society ( that thing that nurtured and educated you and gave you incredible chances at survival) has deemed this to be fair. Your naievete is charming " no one tells me what to do on my property, except pay taxes, business license, beer and wine license, separate liquor license, zoning ordinances, eminent domain, safety regulations, fish and game regulations, mining rights, water rights..." Do i really need to go on?
For the record, I despise the Westboro church, but I uphold their right to LEGAL protest.

Smoking bans are in place because you are igniting a caustic material in a public area. Your smoking affects others around you and that's where your rights start to seriously fade fast. Think about this logically, why would it ever be ok to light things on fire in public and subject others to the results of said fire? In no way do you have an inalienable right to ignite chemicals in public places whenever you feel like it.
With government granted right of ways. With this in mind the people have a vested interest in controlling business that we have granted special privileges. Otherwise the ISP can get its own land, and spend its own money to negotiate with every land owner that has verizon cable buried beneath his land, etc.
A couple of people have mentioned co-workers messing with phones. If someone at work touches my phone they are going to get a nasty talk from HR. Are we in high school here?
Its not 'scary' so much as its annoying to have to introduce a 3rd party to the table just to watch video that the machine you are watching it on has more then enough horsepower to render pretty much any video stream out there.
It doesnt matter how inefficient it is. Guaranteed postal service to everywhere is a VERY integral part of a modern society. I dont care if USPS loses 100 billion a year, its necessary. We dont do cost:benefit analysis on military budgets, why should we do so on one of the most integral pieces of infrastructure we have?
Its only the most recent revisions of the Corvette that make it a world beater. The C6 (2005-present) Corvettes definitely stand shoulder to shoulder with their peers. Before C6 yes it was a plastic piece of shit.
Alot of the newer mobile phones can throw up an access point, with or without internet connection. He is probably shooting with his camera and cellular hotspoting it to a webservice (Flickr, Picasa web albums) etc., and then pulling down the pics on the Ipad.
He made Orcs and Elves for the DS. A fairly well received game. When that came out is when he really started talking about mobile gaming.

Why not death? Knowingly passing an unconstitutional law is very much akin to treason
