Those that want actually decent headphones and no DRM? My Xperia Z3 even recognizes my noise-cancelling earbuds and enables it automatically. Maybe its okay for people listening to 128-160kbit on speakers, but when listening to 320/FLAC with headphones BT ruins the sound quality.
There is another important angle you are discounting: If corporations fire all their human workforce, where will their revenue come from? Everyone can't be unemployed, otherwise there will be nobody to buy their goods and services. Unless the entire economy is going to subsist on only the revenue of companies buying from other companies. But even then, eventually there needs to be an output...
Suppose it depends on the water depth. I know I'd rather not wait for the cabin to flood if I were sinking in a lake. You might be pretty deep before you could get the door open and try to swim to the surface.
Judging by how haptic technologies are advancing now, I would imagine touchscreens in the future would have the ability to dynamically raise their surfaces to provide a measure of physical feedback.
I assume you're saying that tongue-in-cheek. There are a number of fairly common naming conventions used within the African-American community. One off the top of my head: Girls names that end in -—qua/a. Shaneequa, Tanisha, etc. That's of course, not to say only those are used, but they are ones at least that I've only seen used by that specific ethnic group.
They could even do something like install an app that locks out the phone if its taken a certain distance away or maybe even something tied to a handshake with a specific Wifi point.
Unfortunately, I think you have a localized problem. I can't say I've ever noticed someone pull out a laser pointer, nor issues with kids running around or people talking loudly around here.
This may kinda, possibly, lead to kids who might at some point think of being a script kiddie. We have also found a correlation between these modders and drinking Mountain Dew. We're drawing up new legislation as we speak.
This case went well beyond the normal bounds of "going viral" it appears. But she should know the #1 rule of sharing things on the internet: Once it's out there, it's on the internet forever. How many other cases have we seen of people trying to quash embarrassing photos or videos online? Has it ever worked? No. Even if it were possible to prevent them from sharing on the original file, he could have recorded with his phone and passed it on. Especially since it was sent to an ex to piss him off...
People may WANT to only share in a limited fashion, but we do not yet live in a world where that is possible. In THIS world, once it's out there, it's out of your hands.
This is true, but at the same time, when you have as much capital on-hand as Apple, why not pay more than the bad guys to make sure you get the majority of the exploits? The only ones that will keep them close to the hip are those that find out the exploit AND figure they can personally benefit more by using it. That is a much smaller portion of the bug hunters.
You could have stopped upgrading every year with the PC as well and saved even more money, so whats your point? IMHO, charging the same amount for hardware worth half as much today is dishonest.
Speaking to cell companies in Japan though, it was my understanding they were 2nd or maybe even only 3rd in subscriber base behind NTT Docomo and au. Although that was several years ago, so maybe things have changed.
An interesting thing to note is, most people living abroad in Japan get a phone through Softbank, because the rules through the other providers are a lot more strict. Also heard some say that was because Softbank was started by a "foreigner" as well, but dunno for sure.
I'd settle for my carrier remembering to rebalance or put up a new tower or two in areas with new construction. I'm literally a 2-min drive from a major freeway and I can't even connect a voice call unless I'm outside on my porch. (And that is 1-bar signal then, at that.)
They don't agree with the law so they stopped doing business there. Where is the problem with that? The nature of their business demands not operating there while a theoretical petition is filed.
It's so the phone is easier to slip out of your hand and crack, making you buy a new one.
Worst-case scenario I go back to carrying around a separate audio player. Progress!

When the people want more services than tax revenues can provide in any given year and have ran a substantial budget deficit for well over a decade?

Wouldn't connecting via VPN bypass the no torrenting restriction, anyways?
How does a USB dongle with a reader attached to it stick out less than an SD card mounted in the laptop?

Reminds me of the plotline of Star Ocean 3...

You sure about that? An ultralight doesn't need to file a flightplan, and those don't fly very high at all.
What happens when a wind gust blows the pizza drone laterally over someone's front yard?

Until they want to go to a new building which isn't on the map.

I've heard people say all it comes down to is which driver it uses a lot of the time. Pretty expensive drivers to design I guess...

Similar: My 3770K is over 4 years old now and all I've done is update the video card once. Still plays new games like a champ.
