Well in my uni Computer Engineering is split into Software Engineering and Hardware Engineering. On a broad perspective SE is the way to go but if you're really into programming you'll get there no matter which path you choose.
Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom was a true masterpiece. But it seems that space simulators have pretty much died. Gone are the days of Tie Figher, xwing, Wing commander. The last space sim I played was freelancer and that wasn't half as fun as the others. I'd like to see some new multiplayer space simulators.
They're not trying to play catch-up at the moment
They can't catch up, even if they wanted to! They were never ahead in the first place so that they could lag behind and "Catch up"!
US is to blame: Interesting
Google is to blame: Funny
Maps have dual purposes: Insightful
It's their fault they keep getting pwned : Flamebait
US has never won a war : REDUNDANT
Declare victory and get the hell out of there.
Rather than spend money on a bunch of RMS lunatics that would sooner die than reverse engineering decent drivers,
The money should fund mafia groups to hold Nvidia at gunpoint and force them to release the source code of their drivers. Now that would get opensource drivers with style and since only a few Nvidia guys would be killed there would be no loss of innocent life.
Finally an effective strategy to load off all those worthless netburst processors! Intel heated swimming pools! Bet AMD didn't count on that one happening!
I'd pick LCDs unless I had a specific reason to go for something really big and yet there's still room for improvement. LCDs can't properly display dark areas and they're still a bit too expensive.
Stop comparing apples to oranges to penguins! On one side you have a monopoly and on the other there's a community driven effort. I can't stand to see people complain about something they paid nothing for and know nothing about.

Yahoo may be selfish but google is lawful evil! ps:Enough already with the bad karma!

I think parent was trying to be funny.
That is just too funny! I've got another one. Pimp my battlecruiser!
You don't need the hardware. Just use WinUAE emulator.
If you think XFCE is light, try Fluxbox. Doesn't look as impressive but it gets the job done and it's much faster on older hardware.
Keep buying core2 you fools. Once AMD is crushed they will have no reason to slash their prices and you (the foolish consumer) will lose.
What happens when/if they get to "Z"?
Parent post has nothing to do with the subject.

That's amazing! Even better if it warned about the suffering in Hell.
Interesting. Quite a nasty way of making money though.
We can all be 100% sure which OS "Arnold" is going to stick with.
These stock holders are crazy! http://finance.google.com/finance?q=SCOX

Because we STFU about security vulnerabilities nobody will exploit them and our users are safe. :)
I expected someone to have posted something humorous by now.
Now is the time for the return of Amiga OS!

Ubuntu is great for newbies. The best thing about it is the community. openSUSE used to be my favorite. Why did they ruin it?
