  1. PvE vs PvP on Review: Wrath of the Lich King · · Score: 3, Insightful

The quests didn't present much of a PvE challenge even to a resto druid two levels under the quest level. However, on a PvP server, I've had a friend get ganked while doing quests like these. I went to help him only to find I can't help since I'm in the restored town and he's still trying to restore it. Also, while most of us at Slashdot are adults, there are kids who play these games. Sometimes, it's just nice to lend a hand when someone needs it. Thought I still really enjoy the phasing aspect, it would have been nice if Blizzard made it possible to revert to an older phase in other to assist a party member.

To be honest, I've never voted in a presidential election before so I'm not sure how it's done.

Since when is quoting the Constitution trolling? If I had to wager a guess, I'd say, "when truth is worth less than opinion". Typically, that's what political news articles tend to be on Slashdot. Indeed, political posts anywhere tend to devolve into opinion-based arguments, but, for some reason, when this happens on Slashdot, I'm always a little disappointed. But then, your question was probably rhetorical.

It's not as crazy as you think. First, you have the late adopters like myself who can't buy the version of a system they want (60g PS3 with full backwards compatability because Sony stopped making them when they came out with a new one with a shiny new bell). Then, you have the early adopters who's 360 red-ringed and was out of hard drive space because a 360 hard drive costs what? Three times the cost of a PC hard drive? I'm not saying it would be easy, but Microsoft should make PC and 360 games work cross-platform when possible. My copy of World of Warcraft can be installed on a Mac or PC so I can't imagine MS couldn't find a way to make games go PC to console.
