Overall, that's debatable. In this specific case, however, it's questionable that he had the right to do it.
Had he set up something to take photos of people IN the store from OUTSIDE the store, he's totally clean. But, having something set up inside the store and having it take pictures that are up close and personal, is questionable but not absolute.
Does this mean that someday/. will actually render properly in a browser? I used IE, FF, Opera, and Safari all regularly./. does not reneder 100% in any of them:(
How do you know that one of them isn't proper and the rest are merely deviations from proper?
Or, more accurately, how do you know what it is supposed to look like if you say they are all wrong?
You are on vacation? Don't read your email.
Second, buy a wi-fi device or smartphone.
Third, I have been away from slashdot for a long time so, um, what the hell is this thing I am typing into?
"I read a recent blindtest where three experts and a bunch of non-experts were tested for the difference between HD and non HD material on several LCD's and plasma displays.
"
Looks like they've bought the images in question. Current front page has great big "copyright xxx" on all three pics.
Guess Prism's out a few bucks....
And probably a couple of web designers are out of a job.
That's life.
For example, commercial sites rely on their banner ads to generate revenue.
Like the great big ads for McAfee's products that run throughout this piece?
So, at first I thought that someone wanted Google to shut down its images service. Then, I read a little bit of the story and thought that Google was being asked to remove images of Australia's reactor. Then, I finally figured out that they were only being asked to censor those images. Now, I have a headache.
Yea, it doesn't really fit with this version of the joke. The way I heard it was that the guy is amazed that his arm will do anything he tells it and never gets tired, so he goes to a bar and orders beer after beer, thus leading to his poor choice of words...

"I'll second that. I saw "The Island" last week on a plane. Had to stop watching, as the numerous placements completely ruined the movie for me.
Oh, I hardly doubt that was the first or only thing that ruined that movie. From the article:
"some writers are putting up a fight, demanding more pay in exchange for scripting product plugs into their shows ."
So, in other words, it isn't like they are concerned about becoming shills...only that they aren't paid enough to be whores.
