Not being cynical here (I agree in general) but from experience I would add that for those in *highly active and dynamic R&D IT environments* the time, effort, cost, and personal stress of presenting that data to a new boss makes it almost impossible without bringing in a workflow analyst, usually leading to a conclusion a year later that hopefully vindicates your first assurances to the new guy, or at least allows both of you to see where any issues might exist that require tuning. If that analyst can also offer feedback in real time it is an added win.
But think of the creative potential for staging some awesome swatting theater when the neighbours are away... lights flashing, beepers beeping, curtains ruffling as the authorities arrive... great fun.
So I tried ta join 4chan but after I entered all my personal info on/b/ nobody was nice and my computer crashed so i had ta send this from my moms ipad and she just got fired too btw cuz her boss hates her cuz of stuff that somebody put on her facebook page when I was wating to here back from 4chan. Anyway anybody know if they let me in? I gotta see Carly Rae Jepsen naked.
The conservatives in power at the federal level in Canada have been figuratively rounding up all the intellectuals, scientists, educators, and scholars who do not toe the line. It is disgraceful and eerily familiar to historians, who BTW are about to undergo a government investigation of how Canadian history is to be taught since the conservatives do not much recognize anything but their own mythology.

Mageia 3 Released

Take a look at Mageia's web site(s)/blogs where the history and rationale for the fork in 2010 is spelled out for all to see. It's been almost three years, dude.
Also, you have the question backwards. It is: "What is the point of not forking distros?"
Note to the manufacturer: substitute the paragliding gear with a hydrogen-filled, metal-framed dirigible. Ya, that's the ticket for great press coverage.
The CBC, as a public broadcaster, has no boots to kiss in this issue, but it doesn't take a conspiracy theorist to suspect that the present Conservative government of Canada has numerous vested interests to protect. I agree 100% that Canada's official absence from this investigation is extremely embarrassing.
The interactive feature linked in my earlier post is a must-read for anyone trying to figure out some of the ploys used by tax evaders worldwide.
This has been public knowledge since the end of March, yet there has been almost zero coverage of it in the mainstream U.S. media. Here's a bit of info in map form from the CBC on April 3, 2013:
The first mistake was to call it the "Littoral Combat Ship", which makes people confused about the intended mission specs. I mean, literally who the hell uses the word "littoral"? "Almighty Almighty, this is Littoral Combat Ship Street Gang. Radio check, over!" Yuck.
They should have called it the "Riparian Combat Ship". Ya, that's the ticket.
That's it? 6 hours 28 minutes? Linux topped that easily: the CRUX Linux ISS space walker had an uptime of 8 hours 23 minutes 26 seconds and was only shut down because of a colonel update.
TFA was a complete exercise in BS. Here's another example of how to do a slim Linux install: during a Mageia or Mandriva install, select the Custom option, deselect everything, click through to proceed but when it stops to check if you really, really want to have such a sparse choice select "truly-minimal-install" and you will get exactly what it says, without X or even man pages.
Oh dear oh dear, I hope Donald Knuth doesn't see that Slashdot doesn't seem to allow the correct METAFONT for displaying the program name! Pissing off Donald Knuth would be like kicking the Dalai Lama.
Is it possible to represent it in it's proper format via this version of Slashcode?

Combined USB2.0 & eSata port on recent Lenovo notebooks too. Apple's patent diagram resembles it.
It would be a lot more satisfying to have their PBX system(s) crash repeatedly, preferably during their own dinnertime.

If it is not in `cat /usr/share/calendar/calendar.history` on a FreeBSD box then I refuse to believe it happened.
Silly, when the big scooper trucks grab people up and feed them into the food chain the NSA will just file them under Project Make Room!

All I wanna know is if downloading the malware affects my ratio?!!!

There's this group of women from Mars outside waiting to meet Bezos. They said something about his puny weapon being no match for their own.

Agreed, not much in the Canadian news about it. If she had dumped folders of murderpr0n onto /b/ then perhaps a "removal" might have been appropriate.
I'll be glad when this is actually able to run on Lenovo's notebooks, which require an ugly ACPI hack to enable the Nvidia GPU: https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch/issues/2#issuecomment-3797568
Have they figured out how to stop a cohesive beam of light once it has missed the target? Didn't think so.

Not even if it was free as in beer.
Poor summary. Wayland allows the running of X11 applications through an X server, with work being done to support this on Intel and AMD graphics:

At just 5 feet a big net would be more effective, as would a baseball bat.
