    Actually, no it isn't. That's a 30% difference, it's significant.

The day someone observes something spontaneously coming from pure nothingness, I will believe it's possible. Until then, it's a completely retarded thing to theorize (and untestable at that, because we don't have complete nothingness and never will). Nothingness cannot spontaneously give rise to existence.

Ultimately, either the universe is eternal or it was created by something else which is eternal. We don't know enough to discern the truth with science, so you gotta pick one on faith. I choose to believe the latter, because it makes more sense to me to say a supernatural thing violates the laws of nature, rather than the natural world itself violating the laws of nature. However, I'm willing to admit that it's pretty much a coin flip, and it also tells me nothing about the nature of God, only that there is some kind of god out there.

What I really wish would happen more often is that the retail version could be activated on Steam (DoW: Soulstorm had this, for example). Then you get the best of both worlds, not to mention the fact that Steam games don't bother you to insert the disc (which is why I reluctantly switched from physical copies to Steam wherever possible, even though I prefer having a tangible copy of the game).

Then again, there are a hell of a lot of people today who haven't seen that movie and have no interest in doing so, so there's a legitimate argument that even the movies which are considered classics are not culturally relevant any more.

The only person I would really exempt is someone like the president of a country, where they represent every single person in the country (which can be an impossibly large number). However, pretty much anyone else should be making the effort, as their number of constituents will be more manageable.
