I do phone tech support for Adobe products. I deal with every single one of those users every single day. the funny thing is that the worst users to deal with are the IT guys from other companies. They typically take advice the worst. The next in line are the public users who think that they are technically savvy and are really not. Oh, they are a joy to talk to. people who know nothing are easier to deal with I find because they just want me to show them the way and generally trust me implicitly. Otherwise it is tech calls as usual.
Will the Torrent community start to find more efficient and effective ways of circumventing the content filtering? Something tells me yes they will. And the conflict goes on, and on and on and on.
You geniuses realize that Jordan was writing the LAST BOOK RIGHT? There ARE NO MORE after this one. Jordan was going to start writing a shorter series based upon a totally different world and mythos. SO all this guy has to do is finish the book based upon Jordans notes and his widows directions, considering she was helping with the writing in the last days because he was so damn sick.

That looks a lot like the e-mail they sent me for trying to sell my non-warez, legal copies of Maya. I have every version from Maya 5-7, educational version collecting dust. I might as well donate them to the Goodwill!!!;P
I tired to sell a few used copies of the educational versions of Maya on eBay recently. Autodesk forced eBay to remove my auctions. All told I most likely lost about $1500 from the way my a auctions were going. So does this kind of stuff apply to me? To bad it is not a class action suit. I pretty pissed about it really. I hope this guy wins so I can go back and sell my copies of Maya.
Bull crap. They never said anything about the content of trackers. They are suing because they are being hacked by Media Companies, pure and simple. They have the right to sue. It is most likely illegal to hack another companies servers/services. This is not a two way street here.
It's kool if Nintendo does it? Because they love hardware revisions, but nobody seems to bitch when they do it. Unless you thinks it sucks when any company does it of course. Because all three companies;Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft; have been guilty of this kind of crap.

So when Reznor says steal my music it like when System of A Down said "Steal This Album". They really do mean it.:)

The war horse amour from Oblivion is one example of some that was not necessary but cool that I did buy. If I have to buy a games cores features to play on top of buying the game in the first place, well, that game company can go fuck themselves.

Where are the other that are having such problems with the UnReal 3 engine? I know LOTS of other companies are using it, so how many are having such difficulties? Is this a case of one company, Silicon Knights, messing up big time and wanting their money back for their fuck up? Or is this a case of them being the only company to go public about how much UnReal 3 sucks donkey turds? I guess the courts will figure it out, but it just seems strange to me that Silicon Knights are the only ones bitching about UnReal 3, that I have heard of, and I read A LOT of on-line news sites. From Gamasutra to Gamespot(where I read about this story first actually) to GameDaily. No one else has said a word. Anyone here have links to any other stories about companies complaining about UnReal 3?
Are you serious? Weight lifting is one of the healthiest a human can do for their body. Remove the freaks who do steiroids and you have a bunch of people who are in great shape. It does so much for so many systems in the human body it is really just amazing. I lift weights and work out now and I have never felt better. If you want to feel great and be strong when you are old, then lift weights and work out, because it is good for all of us.
I cannot believe we are leaving the running of our health care system to these corporate blood sucking leeches. This is just another reason that we need a Federal run health care system that benefits everyone equally, rich or poor. I personally am willing to pay the taxes. Health Care corporations are just getting out of control. Next we will hear shit like, "Oh, were sorry sir, but you've had six heart attacks and two hernias in the past three years, we have to drop you from our coverage now.". Kinda like Car Insurance and too many speeding tickets. It needs to stop. It should have been done back in the 50's at least. Then all the major bugs and problems would have been worked out by now. When will we get put collective heads out of our asses and get this done?

End of the desktop? Last I checked sick ass insane video cards are always getting BIGGER. not SMALLER. My Nvidia BFG 7900 GTX OC is god damned HUGE. How you gonna fit a card that can run games like Crysis and UnReal 3 into a Notebook? Answer: You not, EVER. By 2010 I cannot imagine how big video cards will be, but smaller is one thing that they wont be. Gamers will never turn from the desk top. And there a a shit load of PC gamers worldwide.
I have Comcast(assholes....) and I use FireFox 99% of the time. So they can go fuck themselves. The only time I use IE is when I need to use a website or service that only uses IE, like NetFlix "Watch Now" service. It only uses IE. But other wise it is FireFox all the way.
