You know what i want from consoles? That they stop to get the pc titles turned into crap. Please, someone give them a keyboard and mouse and have them taste what a fps is really about. I'm fed up with seing auto aim, horizontal layout of ennemis, waves of them walking straight toward you, huge weapons, MEGAHuge huds and microlevels, and ter-r-r-r-r-ible textures. Go back!
This is their good cop move, behind the scene they threaten every political person they can that they are are going to suppress jobs in europe if patents dont become legal. At least they have a good cop move, unlike microsoft.
It reminds me of DaHalf. This one was a perverse bastard. It slowly encrypted your hd track by track at every reboot but decrypted them, so the datas were perfectly safe as long as the virus was there. If you removed the virus, you lost the datas since the encryption key was in the virus.
Do not remove virii before reading what they are about. If a virus is on your hd and you want to have it checked, cut the power, remove it from the pc and do not boot it until it is between the hands of a professional. Consider switching to linux and entering the land of peace of mind.
of course MS can wait until the xbox starts being profitable for as long as they want Really? Don't they have shareholders who might think that those 5 billions dollars that gave no profit might have gone into their pockets instead and who wouldnt like to see another 5 billions being wasted every 4 or 5 years? I think they can do it another time but have to bring revenues this time. I bet they are going to try to milk those "internet users". They have been trying for years to create a private (ms)network that would bring them huge revenues.
If you judge this movie by "star wars" standards, it's very good and probably the best of them all. I was on the first star wars the first day it came out, and went back immediatly to see it three times in the following weeks. As years went by, i found the movies great, but was really disappointed by the ewoks. To the point that people that disliked jar-jar appeared very young to me. "This is the kind of stuff Lucas put in his movies for the youngsters you know". Yes, it's boring. I didnt find episode one or two bad and wasnt bored watching them. But i didnt find them good either. I just didnt want to go back to watch them. And I had a lot of fun making fun of them when they were aired on tv last weeks. I liked the Amidala character, tho'. period.
But this one made me want to go back and watch it again. It really brought back the fun of watching a sw movie in me and I was pretty sorry for the anakin character in the end. I mean really sorry. It even made me want to watch the 3 following episodes again. To follow them from the point of view of the vador character this time. Poor sad stupid bastard. I mean it.
So is it a great movie? No. My favorite directors are Kurosawa and Tavernier who can do a movie with action and emotion and intimacy and with a deep philosophical side at the same time (and with great well directed actors). Is it a great "star wars" movie? You bet it is! The best!
I have seen one player dropping spiders on a scorpion before riding it. Don't know how it worked. He then put some on mine, and it did explode. It exploded when I drove over one peon, killing me.
They have many offers available with linux pre installed, like mandrake i know for sure, and other distros i think but don't remember quite well. And, for OS-less PC offers, they have to provide an OS, because otherwise, you know, the PC "would be for pirated windows". So instead of crying for ubuntu not being pre installed, see the bright side of it: -linux pre installed on HP PC is a reality -probably this is a first step and you will see ubuntu based PCs in the future: they probably have to go through mutual certification processes. HP wants something that works, ubuntu wants to check the way its ditro is treated.
A perverse system breeds perversity, like "knowing that you might be watched", in your case. Wether you fight this system or not, perversity will enter the minds of the youngs. The youngs you describe, even if rebels, are already paranoid people in a paranoid society.
Usability is also what helped a lot the gnome project. Compare the different growth they had in user market share while KDE wasnt helped by usability experts and gnome was. Oh! Wait....
you can bail out of one of the vehicles in 2k7 and have it keep going to detonate on impact you can do, it sort of, in ut2004. The scorpio is nice to attract spiders mine around a node and clear it up, as they continue to follow your vehicule after you bail out. The manta can be thrown at people in front of you, especially if they missile you, since they lose your trail as soon as you bail out and most of the time the missile pass over the manta... wich passes through the opponent. But you already knew all that:)
I have seen lately many news like this one where big backers for software patents in europe say they might be obliged to do the same, and always in europe.
I want a few of those cards if they work well in linux to have a no brainer multiscreen solution. Right now, nvidia is good for gaming but installing and configuring thier drivers for anything other is a pita. So give me a good open solution for multidisplay and I will be ok to pay a little more for a little less power as long as I have the desktop performances that I need. Gimp in itself, thanks to its magic ui is begging for a multi display envirronment:)
btw, I was also OK to buy a silent, electricity friendly, transmeta based PC for the same reasons. Still waiting. I just bought one of those fancy silent power supply for 70 euros, as I said, I'm OK to pay a little more if i get what i need. And a 200 euros fanless 6600gt nvidia. Just to show that I put my cash where my mouth is. Comfort, silence, multi display, linux, freedom and openness, and a no electricity hungry system.
learning Linux on the side. I'll switch when I'm ready If all people who "try" to switch from windows, would do the same, user helping forums and such would be a lot nicer! How many people just try to switch out of anger or even good faith, but are disappointed to be on foreign land without a clue as what to do next and then blame the os. Thank you.
He is not flaming them but he is implying also besides what you say that they are not giving back fairly, aka cvs access or patches instead of dumps. Like in, "omg you gave me something, I'm now how going to make sure you can take something from me too, my friend". It also implies that the guy behind the acid2 test patches is more oss friendly since he is putting them as patches and documenting them.
Mobilix was sued (and lost) in Germany because its name vaguely looked liked obelix, a character from a french comic book named asterix. Go figure... The ugly part of that is that those characters are gaule warriors fighting the evil over-organised
over-bureaucratic roman empire and that I learned to read with those comics books. Stupid greedy uderzo.
You are misleading.
There is a national identity card and there has been one since 1955, it juste isnt obligatory.
It is obligatory to establish (?) your identity to a police officer or military police doing a legal identity control at all time, but it can be done by:
-National ID card, passport or driving license.
-election card, birth papers, military papers, social security papers etc
-a testimony of identity (yes, just someone saying he knows you is ok if that person seems ok to the cop)
For foreigners, you have to show your presence in France is valid, which means passport and visa if necessary.
Btw, it is now since 1999 a national SECURISED identity card, meaning they already take fingerprints and it can be used to access a police database
And I still don't have it, having no urge to spend money to have my fingerprints taken and getting into administrative troubles if I lose it, and I live without any problem.
your point is?
it's Morpheus == Chewbacca.
Here you put Chewbacca inside Morpheus, which must hurt.

Go back!
1/ gaming
2/ virii writing
3/ finding flaws to bash it on slashdot
4/ ???
5/ profit

He didnt need any fscking carte blanche to do what he wanted.
lotr is in fact one of his less creative work.
Howard the Duck.
Nuff said.

It seems adult film producers know a lot about karma whoring too.
Nice shot!
