This one was a perverse bastard. It slowly encrypted your hd track by track at every reboot but decrypted them, so the datas were perfectly safe as long as the virus was there.

Do not remove virii before reading what they are about.
If a virus is on your hd and you want to have it checked, cut the power, remove it from the pc and do not boot it until it is between the hands of a professional.

I think they can do it another time but have to bring revenues this time.
I bet they are going to try to milk those "internet users". They have been trying for years to create a private (ms)network that would bring them huge revenues.

  9. This one is good on Ebert Gives 'Sith' Positive Review · · Score: 1

If you judge this movie by "star wars" standards, it's very good and probably the best of them all.
I was on the first star wars the first day it came out, and went back immediatly to see it three times in the following weeks.
As years went by, i found the movies great, but was really disappointed by the ewoks. To the point that people that disliked jar-jar appeared very young to me. "This is the kind of stuff Lucas put in his movies for the youngsters you know". Yes, it's boring.
I didnt find episode one or two bad and wasnt bored watching them. But i didnt find them good either. I just didnt want to go back to watch them. And I had a lot of fun making fun of them when they were aired on tv last weeks.
I liked the Amidala character, tho'. period.

But this one made me want to go back and watch it again. It really brought back the fun of watching a sw movie in me and I was pretty sorry for the anakin character in the end. I mean really sorry.
It even made me want to watch the 3 following episodes again. To follow them from the point of view of the vador character this time.
Poor sad stupid bastard. I mean it.

So is it a great movie?
    No.
My favorite directors are Kurosawa and Tavernier who can do a movie with action and emotion and intimacy and with a deep philosophical side at the same time (and with great well directed actors).
Is it a great "star wars" movie? You bet it is! The best!

They have many offers available with linux pre installed, like mandrake i know for sure, and other distros i think but don't remember quite well.
And, for OS-less PC offers, they have to provide an OS, because otherwise, you know, the PC "would be for pirated windows".
So instead of crying for ubuntu not being pre installed, see the bright side of it:
-linux pre installed on HP PC is a reality
-probably this is a first step and you will see ubuntu based PCs in the future: they probably have to go through mutual certification processes. HP wants something that works, ubuntu wants to check the way its ditro is treated.

There is a national identity card and there has been one since 1955, it juste isnt obligatory. It is obligatory to establish (?) your identity to a police officer or military police doing a legal identity control at all time, but it can be done by:
-National ID card, passport or driving license.
-election card, birth papers, military papers, social security papers etc
-a testimony of identity (yes, just someone saying he knows you is ok if that person seems ok to the cop)

For foreigners, you have to show your presence in France is valid, which means passport and visa if necessary.

National ID card The Law 1955-1999

Btw, it is now since 1999 a national SECURISED identity card, meaning they already take fingerprints and it can be used to access a police database
And I still don't have it, having no urge to spend money to have my fingerprints taken and getting into administrative troubles if I lose it, and I live without any problem.
