IMO you could argue the contrary: Because the pilots are far away, and not in immediate danger they might be more cautious as to whom they shoot. Also they are not separated from family, not plagued by fatigue and their friends have not been shot down by the enemy. All that ought to result in better judgement for the pilots.

Sorry to bring this up, but that unit just strikes me as absolutely ridiculous (mg/12 oz).
Why measure per 12oz instead of per oz? Actually, why not skip the oz and go all in on the metric system, instead of that half-assed job?

Can anyone explain this to the people (like me) east of the Atlantic?

  17. Re:No correction needed on Music Industry Attacks Free Prince CD · · Score: 1

Why is it so important for Mickey Mouse to become public domain? Or more importantly any Britney Spears song? Because copyright puts a strict limit on derivative works, such as sampling a song. Just sampling a tone or two is going to cost you a start-up fee plus a percentage of the income from your song.
Some artists have been forced to hand over copyright on songs with 2-3 second samples in them.
And using samples from more than 3 songs in your own song will normally mean that you'll have to pay up more money than you earn every time the song is sold.

Not that I'd want to sample Britney, but you get my point.

Think of Nickelodeon or Disney. They have their main channels. They pay money to either get, or produce shows for those main channels. Does Nicktoons, and ToonDisney pay that same money again to rerun them? No, but the studio does get another channel to sell advertisement slots on. The more impressions, the more money they bring in.
So you're saying that this will make people watch less television? Having two channels instead of one isn't going to help when each viewer can only watch one channel at a time anyway. And so, if both nickelodeon and Disney looses their extra channel, nobody lost, and nobody won (Unless people start watching less television)
