    It isn't the interference that is the issue. It is that Russia pwned the US election process to put in a bubble headed wanna be dictator as president and empower a fringe nationalist movement that is pushing the US towards civil war that is the problem. It is one thing to push a vote but to turn the world's superpower into a banana republic on the verge of breakup is not only a concern but a slap in the face to anyone who ever cared about this country.

    did... did the United States *really* just pass a law prohibiting American Citizens from being at liberty to choose precisely which software they wish to purchase and run? that appears to me to be an extremely dangerous precedent, and an extremely fascist thing to do, like the Nazis did in the 1930s: burning "unapproved" books. it would not surprise me if this same thought occurs to Civil Rights supporters and a case is taken up, fairly soon.

    truthiness: the quality of seeming to be true according to one's intuition, opinion, or perception without regard to logic, factual evidence, or the like: the growing trend of truthiness as opposed to truth.

    Republican too. "Data" is sinful and gets in the way of truthiness.

    If I had not watched for as long, or if the lighting conditions were not right at the end (I was in a car at the time), I would have definitely thought I had seen UFOs and could easily have become a believer. I would not in a million years have believed anyone saying these were just a couple of birds had I not seen it in the end myself. Because of this, I can more easily understand those that think they've seen UFOs, especially back in the day when it was more forefront in our culture.

    Still, a bit of online research now and a subscription to Skeptical Inquirer (scientific investigation into claims of the paranormal) should be able to help anyone who maintain such beliefs.

    The wifi provider, Fibertel, is one of the country's largest ISPs and the largest cable operator. It's the argentinian equivalent of Comcast.

    Yes you can have free speech but you cannot break laws in expressing that. Are people really this stupid these days?

    ICBMs are solid fueled, so they are ready at a moments notice. Falcons are liquid fueled, and need hours to fuel up.

    Note: Spying on people in not considered basic research!

    In the USA, Colleges and other places were and likely still are often funded by the government to do research.

    Basic research is something the government used to do. Then multiple companies would compete to monetize the discoveries.
