"It's" will be used incorrectly, and it's meaning has changed. Don't waste time fighting it, we have lost. Just like 'Hacker' or a billion other phrases the media has misused.
Really, you're time is more valuable then that.

Already available in parts of Minneapolis, the rest should be up by the end of the year. They require a modem rental/purchase, so I don't think it's 802.11, but I could be wrong. The prices/speeds seem better than DSL and cable (my DSL just went from $36 a month to $50 for 1.5 Mb/s, I can get 6Mb/s from this for $36), I'm going to give it a try as soon as my neighborhood becomes active.
we have it because we *want* good debate Right, because we all know those poor plebeians don't have the high breeding required to have a good, civil debate.
Uh, yeah, no. That blog is bullshit. He said they will work on better Linux support, and they've been saying that for years. He never said anything about open source drivers.
If you had read the article more carefully, you would see that it is quoting a post from a web forum. A freaking web forum!!! Talk about a trusted news source...
Nope. A marketing guy said something about working on better Linux drivers at one point, and a blogger mistakenly reported this as "ATI is open sourcing their drivers". Slashdot and Digg jumped all over the blog, no one RTFA, and now we have a horde of misinformed people like yourself who are sure AMD said they where open-sourcing ATI drivers. They have NEVER said that, and it is highly unlikely that they ever will.
Well, if you RTFA you'd realize that they specifically said they will not allow illegal images. You know, like child pornography? No doubt it will get uploaded, and shortly after deleted, but that's true for any site that allows people to upload images.
So now that a newer technology is out (electronic downloads) it's OK to physically steal things belonging to the old technology (physical medium)? I don't think that's what he was saying...
So, wait, let me get this straight, sound engineers get royalties on albums they worked on? Because I always thought they got paid up front for recording an album, regardless of how that album sells. Or are you implying the ridiculous notion that no one will ever record an album ever again because it might get "pirated" online?
Funny, I just watched Duck Soup this weekend. The line is "me or your eyes". The lying eyes quote is from somewhere else.
He's got 9/11 in his ID number?
Try Quod Libet and rtorrent
As any dumpster diver will tell you, that's bullshit.
You reuse non-returnable beer bottles? You're crazy.
All the bitches think I'm pretty, bought my face at Circuit City.

Huh? Was that post in English?
Wait, how was he nonplussed if he had a ready answer?
You know, I'm a vegetarian, but I still take offense at that.

Begs the question?
Where do people get this "tin foil" from? All I can ever find is aluminum foil.

Yeah, and now they've dumbed down NOVA to cater to ADD suffering middle school kids. Fuck PBS.

So, in other words, people should be free to say what ever they like, as long as you agree with it. Brilliant.

Come on guys, this is what the stop snitchin' movement is all about! Snitches belong in ditches!
The windows version of open office opens more quickly under Wine on my computer than the native linux version. I have no idea why.
