Now if only Square would think of that. Maybe they wouldn't have to come up with utterly retarded names when they actually do produce a true sequel. Final Fantasy X-2?!
Any machine that let's me play games I enjoy. So you go forward listing the PSP's multimedia capabilities as opposed to any must-have games that makes it competitive.:P
The World of Darkness is great, and the past two games based on Vampire: the Masquerade are among my favorite in any genre. Bloodlines especially had a great sense of character (despite a lackluster ending). The problem with the idea of an MMO is that they will not do it correctly. The World of Darkness is not D&D, it's not for power gamers, it's for people actually looking to roleplay; people that wish to act out a character and be absorbed by the STORY, not collecting weapons and level grinding. While it could be nice, starting out as a human perhaps and then "encountering" your supernatural powers (or not!), the roleplaying aspect will be lost, period.
Wow, you're correct. I didn't realize Rare had done it. That's a let down. What about Dinosaurs For Hire, on the Genesis then? That was an even harder game! At least I managed to beat Battletoads.;)
I didn't say that they're blameless, as people do allow themselves to be victimized. But it is a situation that is taken advantage of, and usually wouldn't even exist if their countries weren't being blown to bit by some imperialistic force. Sex tourism's sole purpose is to provide middle class assholes with largely unethical activities. So no, I don't see how dumb the argument is. I only see dumb some people are, clamoring for pity when they get an arm blown off and wake up to the fact that war isn't all Playstation with your butt-buddies and iPod tunes in a tank.
But i never much liked StarCraft. It was all rushing, and in the bief chance that it wasn't, it was just a matter of who had the largest army. There never seemed to be much actually strategy. Then again, I don't think a lot of "strategy" games do posses such qualities. WarCraft III was certainly better than StarCraft, regardless. Then again, Blizzard's design teams may already be far too tainted by MMOs to churn out a decent sequel to StarCraft...
Exactly, but without the sarcasm. Except for voting in 2008, of course. Any candidate is a joke. If voting actually had the power to change the world, it would be illegal. That's the beauty of a volunteer army, you really get a good sense of which demographics are idiotically patriotic. Ironic that it seems to mostly be the poor, who are probably jerked around more than anyone else by the government. Maybe it should be included on euthanasia eligibility tests: a) Are you a Christian? b) Do you regularly watch sports, particularly pseudo sports like Nascar? c) Would you fight to defend something that has absolutely no interest in your personal well-being, like the United States government for instance?
And, to make my previous bit of "flamebait" clearer, I didn't necessarily mean rape in the most literal sense. But to be sure, the armed forces are notorious for partaking in foreign prostitution where poverty stricken women are left with almost no other choice but to cheaply sell themselves out for the pleasure of every dumb farm boy in a uniform.
Gun toting maniacs? You mean like said wounded soldiers, who sign their lives away with thoughts of some grand adventure abroad killing foreigners, pillaging their country and raping their women?
True, it did keep the general spirit. However, I felt that almost all of the acting was ridiculous and a lot of the special effects looked better on the Playstation. Hehe. Those camera angels taken directly from the game were a nice touch though.
I'm going to take that as being sarcasm... Considering the Doom film didn't even follow the basic, microscopically thin story that the game had to begin with. The first Mortal Kombat has been the only videogame film worth watching so far and it just ripped off Enter the Dragon.;)
While more akin to an Action RPG, Super Paper Mario is quite fun. Even so, if what I specifically wanted was good RPGs and online support, I wouldn't go to a console for it. But since J-RPGs tend to bore me and online play has never seemed that fun (even on my computer), it doesn't seem like too big of a deal.
Harry Potter and The Da Vinci Code? Sheesh, those books are so common they aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
I don't think it's commonality that makes those specific picks so worthless...
Yes. That's kind of the point of small claims. I'm sure that a large corporation would still be represented by a lawyer, however.
Don't tell Marvel that! Of course, they own the word superhero, so you can't even legally describe the game as a "generic superhero universe".
Now if only Square would think of that. Maybe they wouldn't have to come up with utterly retarded names when they actually do produce a true sequel. Final Fantasy X-2?!
Stick with my Sega Nomad, thank you!

It worked for Jim Jones. Though isn't it actually Kool-Aid of Fear?

Just like WoW... Just like Wow... Etc... The lesson? WoW also sucks, just like all MMOs. *gasp*
It's not nostalgic until I can struggle through Battletoads!
Thought so. I'm usually the only one to see the truth.

Get a real website that you control and start a webring or a forum. Stop depending on corporations to shove communities down your throat.
At least you can get one. Go twenty miles outside of any city and you'd be lucky if your modem is even able to connect at 28.4kbps.
I must admit to being bored out of my mind during Bad Taste. It just didn't have the "oomph" that Dead Alive did.

Peter Jackson and Halo. *barf* He should really go back to making films that don't suck, like Dead Alive and The Frighteners.

I don't know, Slashdotters probably like to read Tolkien and Star Wars novels... That might actually be worse anyway. ;)
