Look if they took vista, and put out a version that you could strip the DRM, indexing, firewall, and was backwards compatible all the way to DOS then I would buy it at a fair price. Right now they want me to pay for services I don't like at a price thats too high. You can dress it up all you want, I still wont buy.

If memory serves can't the US confiscate anything that contains digital data at their border, therefore couldn't they now just take your passport and never give it back. That could prove to be a issue. Imagine, your going from Canada to the US, you present your passport to the US customs, they take it and then tell you "Nope not allowed in, you don't have your passport." You try to go back into Canada and then they say "We would let you in but since you don't have your passport your stuck, eh?"

When I worked for a company during the bubble we got OT, when I worked for NRT we got time in lieu, when I worked for shoppers drug mart they told us we were getting time in lieu, but if we tried to take it (like I did for my wedding) they just fired you. And at where I work now we get overtime and time in lieu, basically you get 1.5 times pay and you get a day off for the future, its actually really good.

I don't buy the "space alien" story for the simple reason that the "Area 51" aliens look too much like us. Bipedal, five fingers, five toes, two eyes, one two holed nose, one mouth. Look at the diversity of life on earth, with hooved animals, pipedaal animals with feathers, squids, six legged insects and eight legged spiders, no legged snakes. And all of these creatures presumably evolved from the first earthly protolife, as we've never seen life sponaneously appear since, nor have we been able to cause it to spontaneously appear.

How many of the creatures you listed there evolved into curious tool builders? because seriously those are the only ones that will ever build spaceships. It could be that there is just something about a humanoid form that lends itself to being space fairing.
