While not a fix, I've found that if you re-boot the iPhone (hold down the Home and Sleep buttons for N seconds) MobileSafari doesn't crash anymore (at least for a while). When I first provisioned my phone Safari would crash multiple times per day. After a re-boot it stays up for over a week at a time. BTW, the iPod app was also crashing until the re-boot.
I have fond memories of trying to avoid a global nuclear war while trying to become the sole super power in the world. Fascinating game from way back in 1985! Balance of Power
You just need a linear beam, maybe adjustable from 12" - 24". Nice simple design and easy to maneuver. Sort of a Light Saber for your yard. Wait, I just thought of a name for it: the "Lawn Saber"/me also sprints to the USPO (and the tradmark office!)
Not sure what's wrong with your copy, but NeoOffice/J uses the native print capabilities of OS X: you get PDF printing for free, right there in the print dialog. Are you using an older version of OS X? I forget when they added PDF printing.
Actually, that's a type: it should have said "NeoOffice/J", which is much more pleasant. It is a java front-end to OOo, which gives you native fonts, native printer support, anti-aliasing, international input support, etc.
I also have Office.X installed but only use it to make sure some reports I generate using Apache's POI look right for some clients.
IDEA is my day-in, day-out IDE. NetBeans is there to experiment with (mostly the alpha refactoring for 4.0)
I have to say that I've never liked IDEs and always found them to be more trouble than they are worth. IDEA was the first one to actually pull me away from emacs. I still am not completely happy with the editor in IDEA, but it's damn close and the refactoring was the icing on the cake (yes, I know that refactoring is available for emacs).
a fused, multiply-add operation counts as two floating point ops, the multiply and the add. They are the most commonly used float ops in the scientific world.
I've seen some reports that suggest that there is a bug with calendar events that have a lot of text associated with them. Do your calendar events have long notes? This apparently breaks the sync.
Ah, but right now I'm doing some J2ME development and find myself needing to test some WML pages. Opera is the only browser for OS X that supports WML (as far as I know; someone correct me if I'm wrong).
And, of course, it never hurts to have another browser to test against.

Actually, drag increases exponentially with velocity. If I remember correctly, if you double your velocity the drag will increase by a factor of four, barring other non-linear things like laminar flow over the hydrofoils. So, all other things remaining the same, you would have to increase power four times to double the speed.
I'm sorry, but the Rio Volt is not a "top notch player". I bought one of the high-end units (with the FM tuner) and it literally fell apart in my hands. The plastic posts that hold the case together in the back of the unit (where the screws are on the bottom of the case) broke. Closer inspection showed that there was too little plastic being used in the injection mold process. And it's was pretty cheap plastic to boot.
I returned it and picked up a sony CD/MP3 player. The sony isn't nearly as feature rich as the Rio, but the build quality was much better.

Know not the others?

Spleesh, Taco, way to get my hopes up!
Stop that! Stop that! There'll be no singing here!

Cripes! /s/type/typo/
Oh, the irony...

First Ten:
* LaunchBar - fast key-stroke based launcher
* OpenOffice.org
* IntelliJ IDEA - great refactoring IDE
* FireFox
* SubEthaEdit
* xcode
* Carbonized GNU/Emacs (insert joke here...)
* Propellerhead's Reason
* Omni Graffle Professional
* NetBeans
Most of the other stuff (unix tools) is already there.
Thanks. You made spew coke all over the internet!
That's why I drive a Mini!

I still have all three, but find that I use the 42S the most; it still has the 'feel' of the old, rugged HP's and has a quick response.
ebay is your friend: HP calculators
I tried Wapaka (it was broken in various ways). I never heard of yospace, I'll give them a try.
Yeah, I know the rendering doesn't match the phones. I mostly use it to test the navigation and device detection.

Well, at least 'Pegacorn' sounds better than 'Unisus'

Back when I was using linux I just mapped the windows keys to 'super' and 'hyper'. You can never have enough meta keys!
Maybe that just comes from using emacs too much...

also 'rm ./-p' works and is one less character! :-P

In retrospect I should've just bought an iPod.
