There is no other device to choose from. Apple has all the patents to make the device I want and no one else can. But they ruin it by having a controlled environment. I understand the benefits of having the walled garden to regular Joe iPad. It's idiot proof. You can't fuck it up, you can't download software that will fuck it up either. But also you can't do anything you want. Also all other competition to iPhone/iPad/iPod has wonky UI and just isn't as polished.
I hate apple but I love their hardware. Well only their mobile hardware. I can just build a computer faster than any Mac out there. They always gimp specs somewhere. There is just no other mobile hardware options that I like. Everyone else is lagging compared to Apple. And that makes me sad.
well what if the aliens fell to their machine overlords and got tossed into the Matrix! and the robots have no desire to communicate with us, or their lack of creativity didn't think that there might be life outside their planet to go toss in the Matrix as well.
Stunt Island was a n awesome game as a kid. Nowadays it would never be let out the gates but back then, it was a playground. You could let your imagination run wild as a kid. It had similar value to playing with legos. I wouldn't mind seeing a new version with pretty graphics.
it's not a win win in the long term. If they cause all their customers to be sued into bankruptcy then all their paying customers won't have the money to be their customers.

Shaping a car to be more aerodynamic isn't that hard. Just most aero designs are butt ugly. I've seen a guy slap on some body parts on a honda civic bringing the CoD down to 0.17 which got him like 65-70 mpg. Thats a huge gain for little effort. The internals were all stock. The major parts to getting it that way are closed up from air dam, wheel skirts and a 'boat-tail' end. It doesn't have to look like an airplane the way the aptera design was. And it doesn't have to be light to be aerodynamic.
Well the other big factor to getting awesome gas mileage isnt just driving habits and technique. Aerodynamics play a large part that no one wants to accept in industry. Namely because cars with low CoD are ridiculous looking. If we wanna get easy mileage bumps aero is the way to go for now. Just gotta get it past the marketing departments.
and that is the difference. The content still matters even though it isn't live action. The notion that animation isn't sophisticated enough to compare to live action is just rubbish.
