    You've got to read the quote:

    That's what shows their 'hate'. The 'good' users will have to see ads all over the place in an attempt to seep past the ad blockers, while a few people will update the ad blockers so the 'bad' users still won't see them. It's just like how legitimate software users have to put up with hardware dongles or whatever but 'pirates' don't because a couple guys somewhere will disable the checks each release.

    you would want a port where you can plug in either a USB connector or an SD card.

    As long as it's a second SD slot so I don't have to contract storage space every time it needs a-chargin'.

    If there is an obvious need for it, and similar things have already been developed and well accepted, but this particular combination isn't available yet, then what's the point?

    It pops up occasionally on Slashdot but usually nobody says anything. I wonder if they're using IE and it's converting quotes and apostrophes to Smart Quotes (and Apostrophes), giving /. indigestion.

    I drive at full throttle at all times, lane splitting on the median and using only the handbrake for those times I need to round sharp corners. I run over hundreds of pedestrians, most of whom get right back up and simply curse at me. When the cops come, I drive outside their search radius and they call it off.

    Vidya games have taught me well.

    This is discussing the investment value of games, not the replay value. So all you people saying, "but i can get all that with an emulator for free...", you missed the point.

    To whom are you going to sell your investment if everyone already runs the games for free on emulators?

    Right-click the My Documents or My Music or whatever folder, Properties, then the Location tab. You'll notice that it points to Documents in the same location, even though Documents doesn't show up. Anyway, you can move it from there.

    Additionally, you can add folders to the Documents Library, which by default contains the magic folder My Documents, which points to your actual Documents folder.

    A lot of the user stuff isn't in My Documents or other magic folders, though, so you may have to do a little hacking to get the whole profile tree moved.

    You don't have to upgrade your card every year. You can wait 8 years just like the console. You can do it whenever you want to and still keep compatibility with the entire catalog of every PC game ever made, plus any other system you can find an emulator for.

    Ah, the 286. We had MS-DOS 3.3 with GW-Basic. But I think QB was in a directory on the Win95 CD called other\oldmsdos. The Internet says the floppy edition didn't have it.
