Actually it doesn't. Like so many others I will be looking at the Android and other competitiors. Apples 15 mins is up. The competition has shown up in large numbers and are once again going to relegate Apple to their small niche. Noone wants to be told that they can't run flash and can't develop using Java, etc. Apple could get away with that nonsense with the Mac because only 5% of the market was ever impacted and they were diehard fanboys to begin with. When it comes to phones the majority of people aren't going to put up with that sort of nonsense and as expected they're jumping ship. It's like the 1980's all over again. LOL!
been playing it for a week now. The word that I keep using to describe it is "authentic". It just looks and feels like an interactive western movie. I absolutely love doing nothing more than just riding my horse around the country. It has the polish we would expect after countless Grand Theft Auto games. Rockstar really has the formula down to a science. It's escapism at it's finest and the story is well written.

Just like how workers at my work don't want us recording cycles times, etc. It will simply show how lazy they are...they will use the excuse that being spied on makes them uncomfortable but it all boils down to laziness...they want their cake and eat it too.

Firefox has been nothing but a pain in the ass at work. I swear the kool-aid you guys drink is so strong it should be given it's own element on the periodic chart. I've never had IE problems...Firefox on the other hand rarely works with the HTML and Javascript that we develop. It really boils down to the old cliche that "MS is teh evil!!". People convince themselves that Firefox is better when it really isn't. It's more of the same.
I'm looking to buy a new phone this summer to replace my old and slow iPhone 3G. This is one point in Android's favor. Slow, buggy and insecure it may be but at least the consumer has a choice where as Apple is giving us none.

Everyone knows the real reason Steve Jobs is against flash...it would kill the whole idea of an app store. with flash developers can circumvent having to get apple's approval, etc. their apps would be freely available to anyone. This is so transparent and obvious it makes me laugh that jobs thinks he's fooling anyone. He's gotten arrogant and thinks that we're all drunk off the kool aid and will buy his every word.
Carry your papers with you...it isn't hard. My coworker is from Canada...he carries his "green card" everywhere he goes. Oh my bad...he's white...so he's expected to play by the rules.
an android or Windows 7 phone will be in my future. Apple only looks like a bigger douchebag than normal going after this guy. it isn't the exception. Stores like Fry's routinely sell BluRays for under $20 with prices only being a few dollars more than the DVD.
I own a TON of Blurays so I know for a fact they aren't that much more. If you're paying 1.5 to 3x more you're just a sucker.
