There really wasn't much shooting in Mirror's Edge, either. In fact, you can complete the game without shooting a single bullet, and that doesn't even increase the difficulty all that much.
You misunderstood me, I love roundabouts! Roundabouts are great, and people around here (Lisbon, Portugal) tend to use them correctly. It's just that when there's really _a lot_ of traffic, they get locked up much more easily than a junction with traffic lights, since changing lanes to get to the right one in order to turn away becomes difficult. Mix in some people trying to cut ahead, and it becomes almost completely locked up pretty fast.
Well, I recently got into StarCraft II, and I actually enjoy seeing how incredibly well pros play the game and how all over the place the action is, compared to my typical games on the ladder.
I guess this is a "get off my lawn" rant but I think that flashy graphics have ruined games. Without fancy graphics, the game developers had no choice but to make the games interesting. The first time I saw a new console game system with 3D I was impressed by the graphics but the game the guy had was nothing more than just driving around the game world grinding away at some inane monotonous task that didn't seem to have any purpose.
You might want to go look at the NES game library some day. There's plenty of really, _really_ bad games there, too, so that _is_ a "get off my lawn" rant.
I've never got the problem people have with drawing, esp. because you don't have to do it that much. Now, don't get me wrong: there's plenty of boring grind in that game. Drawing is just not that big a part of it.
Erm... I played ME for like an hour and dropped it. Personally, I've found it really, really boring. Maybe the story's good, but the gameplay turned me off before getting to know it properly. As for GTAs, San Andreas is awesome, 3 and Vice City are good, and 4 has a beautifully made city and not much else.
After wasting a few hours learning how the ORM package works and setting up my models, I came to realize that Django does not support database tables with composite primary keys.
It's somewhat convoluted, but you could make it work. You'd need to add an ID column, make that the primary key, add a unique-together constraint for those fields, and add a bit of custom SQL to create an index on those two fields (there's a way to put this in a file and make it run automatically).
The most aggravating part of the controls in Dead Space isn't PC related, IMO. It's just that moving the guy feels like moving a forklift. For instance, you can either move forward, or strafe, but if you try to move diagonally he just runs forward while really slightly inching away to the side. It's pretty bad, though not game killing, for me.
Wait, you've never seen a game with good mechanics ruined by bad UI or crappy and/or copy-pasted level design?
At least Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 comes to mind.
It's probably US-only, so I'm unable to care.
I can tell who the target market is... people who enjoyed M:I 2.

...or he wants a torrent site he pays for doing the seeding. Which is actually a neat idea.
Roundies with a single lane would be retarded. It'd only take slight congestion on a single exit to cause gridlock.

True, but keep in mind that only works on the bigger ones.
Roundabouts are great, but when there's a lot of traffic, there actually worse than traffic lights, so they're not a panacea.
It's actually Windows key -> Type "idle"<enter>. Which is a lot faster. Or you could pin it to the taskbar, as some have also suggested.
Also: click on the scroll gadget? No mouse wheel? :s
Well, that's a good point. I hadn't thought of it that way.
From what I gather, there's a big SC2 pro scene, but Brood War is still where most of the money is.

If you've already rooted, just use ROM Manager. It takes care of everything.
If you haven't... uh... find out how to and then use ROM Manager.

Easy solution: play a game without that leveling up nonsense. There's plenty of that out there.

Erm... if both 'feet' weren't off the ground at any moment, then it would be _walking_, not running.
It would actually be kinda creepy/cool if they had to recite the judgement at the same time. :p
Really? Because when I block them on the website, all the other apps stop getting them, too.
Erm... for fun? Why do you play any game? Diablo 1 and 2 were solid single player experiences, as well.

And every single person who's in those fields read that and went "One woman for every two men?! NO WAY!"
