    It's almost the only thing the article mentions, you can't go more than three paragraphs before you get "MS sucks the tied D with MSSQL server". I would be interested in knowing what D is. Is there someone with a good article about M or D if that's what it is?

    It originated as a re-engineering of C++, but even though it is predominantly influenced by that language, it is not a variant of C++. D has redesigned some C++ features and has been influenced by concepts used in other programming languages, such as Java, C# and Eiffel. A stable version, 1.0, was released on January 2, 2007.

    Don't be so sure that there's no viruses for Linux version in this EEE case.
    Simply because it wouldn't be so hard to just load a virus, written specifically to the Linux version that EEE is using. Shouldn't be hard and will achieve the same thing.

    If you got more ideas [using scripts or so] post them to me, I'd be more than happy to use my computer to check the beta :)

    The truth is different guys, just from looking at the donations page at KDE.org I would have thought that that they get at-least 30K$ p/m, but the truth is different (300$, in a good month)
    We, the USERS, should donate more

    As a Linux user, I despise Ubuntu, I can't explain why, but I think it's too GUIsh along with other things like
    Not using conventions i.e (at least in the Ubuntu versions I've used) /sbin/dhcpcd doesn't exists.
    I prefer the slackware way of /etc/rc.d/rc.X instead of /etc/init.d or /etc/rc.d/rc.(level)/rc.ssh?
    but there are few good things about Ubuntu, it made Linux and Open Source much better to new-comers, works almost always out of the box
    It's friendly (but silly IMhO) to people who migrate from Windows, and it's the greatest achievement made in the last few years. friendly OS for Windows migrating users.

    You see, when you do something good, you get a compliment from your supervisor, which gets compliment for couple of success as equal to your job, and your supervisor's supervisor gets compliments for being a good manager.
    The one who gets the $$ is the big manager, for all the little employs like me and you, that's how it works.Compliment from your supervisor's supervisor should occur once in a while, but for doing extreamly unique job.

    ...for years now and never have I had to go to command prompt but in some rare cases


    I'm a linux user, and when I work on Windows I open CMD immediately... you ask why?

    tasklist /v 2>&1 --> Shows every task running
    taskkill /f /im process-name (or /pid #pid_num) --> to quickly kill all the... i.e: notepads which are open
    python --> Just to run python
    I've putted rar on my path and rar.exe e filename.rar will open rars on cmd.
    I've putted UnxTools on my path and now I got things like awk,sed,grep,...
    for /R, for /F, --> Parsing files, repeating commands, doing dir with full path on selected filetypes
    quick opening of menus such as msconfig, compmgmt.msc, firewall.cpl, services.msc, etc...
    network actions such as ping or other to check if my network is up.

    And there are many many more... Yes, of-course Linux BASH is much much better, but not using CMD is just not working right, and losing time for regular tasks in my honest opinion

    You see, from where I come from, women always brag about how much women can multi-task, while guys can't.
    If this is true, there is a question to be answered :
    If their Multi Tasking is better than ours (men), why do they drive like that? I mean,God's sake, what's so hard about parking your car ?!?! :)

    and will Tibet be in the correct location? In GPS, you can get, for example, in the NMEA0183 Protocol the latitude/longitude coordinations, which means, you'll only get a secure lat/lon.
    What render the lat/lon coordinates, is your own system which puts it on a map. which means, that it doesn't actually important which Satalite you're using to view the map, but the map software you're using which decides which coordinates are where and belongs to which country.

    Infact, It's already in that form (at least for the beta). Which means, you cannot (currently) install SP3 straight, but you need to install SP1 or SP2 first. Which means the SP3 is in its current form, an update to SP1/2. (That's how it is in the beta)
