    The difference is that at a moments notice can the driving get your undivided attention when needed, or are you too busy sending texts and making calls ....

    We hand out driving licences to anyone with a pulse because of the lawsuits if we don't ....

    Doing anything but having your undivided attention on driving will lower your ability to drive and increase the risk of having an accident

    You have a driving licence to prove you can drive safely, and can be fined/jailed for the lack of quality of your driving so this is your responsibility

    43,000 die as the result of traffic collisions in the USA each year... that's more than 14 9/11's every year ....

    Adding any distraction should be considered dangerous

    The old guys know all these, and mostly keep up with the new stuff (where they can see a future for it) it's the new guys that need to catch up ...

    One problem "Monsanto"

    They produce most of the GMO that people are aware of, are notorious for suppressing any study that they do not like, for not publishing results, for patenting entire plants, for suing poor farmers who never bought their seed, for poisoning the environment .... etc ....

    They may not be typical of GMO companies, but they are the poster child and best known, and are the worst possible advert for GMO ....

    Unlike Communism FOSS projects and distros can make money, (See e.g. Red Hat, Canonical etc ..) and so can pay people to do the shitty jobs that otherwise would not get done

    The USSR had for a large part of it's history a large army standing around with nothing to do, so yes they got them to do jobs that others did not want to do....see also the US army when they are not busy ....

    If the US government wants to shut Wikipedia down then they would have to shut down a rather large number of replica sites as well, the content is backed up all over the world in many cases outside the control of the USofA ....

    They could fairly quickly kill the master site (to huge protest around the world) but the content would be safe elsewhere ...

    They are a Minority in the US .... because they are discriminated against ...

    In the UK saying you are not religious does not make you an outcast so 25% do not believe in any god 50.67% say they do not belong to any particular religion and 37% believe in God ... (but 59.4% say they are Christian...)

    Microsoft are now just copying entire concepts from Apple, Linux, Google etc. .. and do not seem to have anything new to offer ... ?

    Cloud computing is a term that encompasses several technologies none of which are particularly new, and has some very fuzzy edges - a perfect Buzzword

    It is largely meaningless and very poorly defined, in that any company doing anything on a network could quite reasonably define it a a cloud computing system

    A company that sells itself using the term "Cloud" is just using a buzzword and it does not mean anything, unless they are clearly clueless (which they do appear to be in this case)

    "Contract Law 101" : The term 101 seems to indicate that you don't know anything outside the USA since this term is meaningless to anyone who did not go through the US School system .... likewise US contract Law and UK/European Contract law, although based in the same roots are very different nowadays ...

    He is an inventor, not a businessman ...

    He should not have to "pay attention to the business side" that is what Patents are supposed to protect inventors from

    So Patents protect you from people stealing your idea, unless they make minor changes, or you cannot afford to defend it, or they can afford better lawyers than you....so no protection at all really ...

    This is what I hate about Dragons Den/Shark Tank they get people with good ideas who have no business sense, and they get no help ...They get other people with a very basic idea and business sense and they get help, even though they don't really need it ...
