Companies that do offer product in California have to offer certain types of coverage regardless of if the insured needs such coverage or even wants to pay for it.
If they are now trying to push those people onto the business tier then a family of 4 with 2 grand-parents each side is going to cost $400 a year - which is way too expensive to properly consider.

Add to that groups and sites if used well is a huge benefit to families. Then you add to that the calendering and lack of ads and I think that if you can afford it that a good case can be made for its worth.
