I don't have anything against him or Apple itself, but people need to calm down the Steve Jobs worshipping. He is the founder, he have great ideias, but he's not alone in the world, I'm sure they can find a good substitute when the time comes.
I'm not working with support anymore (thank God!) but one case that I still remember was when the guy took a screen shot of an error message using *gasp* his camera. At least it came as.jpg
I think it isn't about evilness, but money. Yahoo! is on a non comfortable situation, as investors are definitely not amused. In my view, they're simply trying to show they can do better where the biggest concurrent seems to be failing. But if it really is better or if it will help Yahoo! somehow, we don't know (yet).
