It seems doubtful that a party like this would win anything more than a small minority of seats, leaving the remainder of the house to act on their own judgment. Each becomes the check that keeps the other in balance.
the distinction by person is useless the way it is in english
in many languages that universally have different forms for different persons, you can remove the personal pronoun, since it's clear from the verb alone which person is meant
Redundancy in language IS important.
In actual speech, not every word may be perfectly intelligible to the hearer, so if some piece of information (such as the subject of the verb) is distributed across multiple words (such as the pronoun AND the verb), then there is a better chance of being understood.
In general though, it seems that the trend is that -less- grammar and -more small-word and word-sequence is used. English sure is losing grammar at a noticeable rate
I'm not sure what you mean by "small-word and word-sequence", but surely whatever you are referring to is part of the grammar of the language, i.e. it is not random.
Google will make its money brokering ads on the mobile phones and even envisions a free phone service one day supported entirely through ad revenue
I can envision a future where what is now low-cost housing will be provided entirely free, with giant flat-screens for walls bombarding the occupants with advertising 24/7. I sure hope I never have to live there!
Jimmy Page has been using a similar guitar made by Transperformance ("The Performer") for years.

Gizmag (http://www.gizmag.com/go/4951/) reports that: "Other celebrity owners of the guitar include Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Robert Hunter (Grateful Dead), Kenny Loggins, Peter Buck (REM), Eddie VanHalen (VanHalen), Pete Townshend (The Who) and technology afficiando Paul Allen (Microsoft, LINK)." And "The transperformance guitar has been in existence for 16 years".

C'mon slashdot, you can do better!
Yeah, which is why they encourage their users to enter the email addresses of all their friends and family.
Did you know that I have a facebook profile, without ever previously visiting their site? So now I have to sign up myself to find out what this profile says about me!
It's like automated blackmail.

if they own one of the specified high-risk vehicles. Manitoba Public Insurance pays the entire cost in these cases, and it provides a discount on the insurance premium for any vehicle which has an immobilizer installed, as well. I mentioned this in a couple of replies, but I thought I'd put it up front because it didn't get mentioned in the article. I own one of the high-risk vehicles, and had my immobilizer put in when the program began - at first MPI payed half the install cost, but then later they reimbursed me (and everyone else) when they changed their policy to try and increase usage of these devices. This is just the latest change, designed to further increase use. It costs nothing, and it saves you money every year! On top of protecting your vehicle...
My only answer is that we are a pretty socialist province! And, I don't believe there has ever been private car insurance here, at least not for a very long time...
To address one of your comments - Manitoba Public Insurance pays the entire cost of the immobilizer, and provides a discount on your premium once you have it installed.
Also, it seems that most of the vehicle theft here in Winnipeg is by youth taking the cars on joyrides, so the electronic bypass methods are probably not a big issue. And Winnipeg is FAR from any other major cities (Minneapolis is the closest large city - almost 800 kms away!) so I don't think thieves are going to be going cross-border as a result.
I'm from Winnipeg, and actually Manitoba Public Insurance pays the entire cost of the immobilizer for the high-risk vehicles, so it's not even a cost issue. Plus, you get a discount on your annual insurance for having it installed as well. I got mine immediately when the program started, it's only saved me money.
I agree, most FF users probably prefer functionality and customization in their software, people who might move to safari (from my experience with it) will be those who prefer appearance and simplified interface. That's also why I have stuck with windows over mac up to now (please, don't flame me to death on that!)
That said, I do like itunes over other audio players (and I've tried tons of them), but really only for one thing - the way the library and playlists work.
So far, I'm close to making a mac my next computer purchase, but if safari was meant to make a convert of people like me, it hasn't worked in this case...
The government used the media to lie to the people through propaganda. And that's no joke....
Didn't you mean: apo'strophe?

That's all, nothing to see here.

I, for one, welcome our X-wing-rocket-flying... oh, never mind.
I, for one, welcome our bacteria-breeding appendix overlords.

You're right, and I was merely being sarcastic. Now excuse me while I go and check my facebook page!
I just friend-requested him!
Maybe if we all *poke* Bill Gates, we can get him to stop.

You might think so, but Manitoba has one of the lowest overall insurance rates in the whole country.

I meant to say 'British colonies in the Caribbean'. Need sleep....
Actually, 'mashup' is a word used in Jamaica and some other former British colonies in Britain. It means 'destroy', 'wreck', etc. Seriously.

Re: Brad Pitt... Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't Angelina Jolie supposedly part-Iroquois?
