i'd be curious to see where the numbers would lie with used game sales as well.. i know i've bought and lost/scratched/etc FF7 3-4 times by now.

Electrical signals don't travel at the speed of light. Ethernet is generally ~.5C. Not entirely sure what the speed for fiber is, but it is also a bit less than C. Just for giggles, I should point out that the sunlight that you see is also not reaching you traveling at C since C is defined as the speed of light in a vacuum. I'm aware that for all intents and purposes, it's easy enough to consider them all as traveling as C since the difference in time is so minute over terrestrial distances. It just gets me when people start a point by saying that the signals are traveling at the speed of light.

At least get your facts straight!

They switched from Nintendo once the PS came out. after FF7-9 came out on the PS, they made 10-12 on the PS2. 13 was originally developed for PS2, then moved over to PS3. Microsoft threw a huge thwaq of cash as Square to get them to delay FF13 and port it over to the 360. It is still coming out on PS3, and should have a much higher quality to it since they didn't have to compress the textures/movies as much to squeeze them onto several DVDs (the entire game is more or less on each DVD, the primary difference in data per disc is which movies are there).

more of, there's been this one restaurant in town for a long time, but all they serve is shit. eventually, a few places open up that serve food instead. everyone flocks to those places and stops going to the place that only serves shit. eventually, the place that only served shit starts to also sell apple pie. and they start paying people to eat the apple pie. some of the people who had been eating apple pie at the non shit serving restaurants start eating the pie at the place that is paying them to eat it. the place that still serves mainly shit declairs that they are the best restaurant in town because people are flocking back to them.

I live across the street from the government center in my county (southern California) According to Verizon, they have full coverage here. When i first moved in I had Verizon and had previously had great coverage at my previous house (a mile or so away). Where I live now, the only way I could get any signal at all was to go outside. If i wanted to be able to actually make a call I had to use the aux antenna that I use while camping in the desert, ~30 miles from any civilization. There are no hills around, according to Verizon, I should have perfect coverage, but I've yet to see anyone who has Verizon have coverage near my house.

Sometimes the companies aren't entirely truthful as to their coverage areas.
