why is he a hacker? This is just transmitting FM with a not so regulatory amp? If he would hack the digital feed in their studio he would be a hacker but now he's just a guy who bought some equipment and dialed in a radio station frequency and is driving around the city. Hacking my ass. But he still gets points for style, execution and repetition!
Wauw, you managed to push all my buttons with a few words, you're a little Napoleon! Do you ever wonder what your employees really think of you? I guess you hurdle sheep and micromanage the shit out of them, you probably don't have anyone in your team that really shines or anyone with a really strong character because you can't stand anything with a bigger ego than yourself.
Regardless of the drug test issue I wouldn't even consider working for you if you showed that attitude during an interview.
Might not need vs does not have is a stretch. I would think all the information to determine if it's being tested or not would just be accessible by some main controller engine API. It seems the sensors needed to tell if it's being tested or not were really basic stuff like finding out if it's moving or not vs how fast it was being driven which could be required by the hand breaking system or a sensor to tell if the steering wheel is moving or not which could be required to turn headlights in the direction the steering wheel is turned etc. Excluding these build-in hardware sensors from a car that does not have extra options payed for by the owner might not be cost-effective when mass producing and reusing much of the same parts / wiring. Not paying for one of those options does not mean the sensors are not in place. Some of the extra options you select when buying a car are software driven things with an extra switch in the console to turn it on/off. Not paying for it does not necessarily mean none of the hardware is installed or that none of the signals are available in the API.
Israel isn't perfect, but as a rule, people tend not to be tortured and killed on sight as they would be if they were in other Middle Eastern countries.
Without a doubt certain agencies are capable of decrypting TLS/SSL and some probably have a good chance of identifying high-value TOR targets in a serious effort but I am pretty sure your ISP or even my country's National Intelligence Service lacks the capability to decrypt TOR traffic and the encrypted payload traffic, let alone being capable of orchestrating meaningful global timing attacks to capture all and everything in a useable daily-database-task format with a spiffy frontend.
Obviously if you go over TOR to UK based sites the packets received by the website can indeed be stored but would still be encrypted unless you do http ofcourse but in that case, you are in sales. Suppose hell froze over, packets are decrypted one way or another and The Man finds out too much about you and it foils your evil-take-over-the-world plan you could consider a second hand laptop that's not linkable to your identity in any way. Run https://tails.boum.org/ and go about your merry little evil business from some free wifi spot in the sun but mind the CCTV's and -avoid- doing anything that potentially could expose a hint of your true identity, like checking your fb stats (sales). If you are really paranoid about selling that suitcase nuke you could chain some vpn's you bought over TOR using bitcoins, scratch credit cards or paid for with blowjobs (sales again!) and mix some proxies in there for the hell of it. They can daily-database-task all they want but they will have a significant hard time finding out wtf you are doing and an even harder time discovering your true identity.
Exactly. It will be known among intergalactic circles as "Man's Final Fiasco". Boards and committees of useless heads will be created to 'go over the science and verify the numbers', some nut jobs will claim it's a hoax while others will get upset if the interrogated scientist wears the wrong shirt.
This is exactly what happened. When everyone was spaced out and staring at the star-filled sky one scientist said: "Dude.... what if we build a telescope right here?".

There's all this whining about systemd and comparing it to Microsoft but comparing Redhat to Microsoft seems more appropriate, no?

Who the fuck had that bright idea?
The hostfile guy? Care to share?
A daily database task? Are you in sales?
You do know how TOR works, right?

The rest is history.
Ah yes, a female tweaking her box. Can't have that, no siree!
