Actually, they don't know how to Google or operate a DVD. Two things recently the exchange student living in my home.
    • Went to Yahoo, and searched for Google...
    • Told him to press STOP on the DVD remote, got a baffled look. He proceeded to explain to me, that he doesn't know what symbol is stop. On his iPod it was the Play/Pause button.

The kid certainly knows how to install Ares and download porn, so I guess he's learned something "useful."

Now of course, if that is not the type of twink you are/want to be... there is also...

    http://www.wowwiki.com/Twink

Twinks are player characters who have gained the best powerful gear for their level with enhancements such as expensive weapon enchants, leg patches and BoE/BoP greens, blues or epics. Twinks are mainly used in PvP fighting and Battlegrounds. Twinks obtain their items through rare drops, drops off of bosses in instances, rewards from quests that are difficult to complete at their level, and from the Auction House.

Either way, I guess a twink is a twink... A twink is "memorable for his outer packaging", not his "inner depth".

  13. DIR-655 on D-Link DIR-655 Firmware 1.21 Hijacks Your Internet Connection · · Score: 3, Interesting

This firmware has been in beta for almost 2 years. It adds the SecureSpot feature which allows for web filtering. The idea with the splash page is to allow the users to immediately decide whether they want the feature enabled or not. So, I install a new DIR-655 router, my kids are immediately blocked from all internet access. If I decide to disable it, suddenly everyone can get to their favorite porn website. If I turn it on, I now have parental controls and the kids can only get to the sites/categories I approve. Is it really that bad they they are forcing you to "choose whether you want the feature on or off?" Maybe they could have disabled it by default, but those that want the feature, may never realize its there.
