    As mentioned here, take a look at Virgin Mobile. The initial hit however may put you off, but $35 a month for unlimited data.

    (Yes it's unlimited, but in the TOS they say that they will throttle you at some point, 2.5GB or something, look for yourself; the point though is they won't cut you off however)

    All it takes is a taste a power and they want more. I'm sure they made it for "terrorists" then it became "only for foreigners" then eventually they noticed it could be used on anyone.

    XFCE is still around and became my desktop after Gnome2 support was dropped on Arch Linux.

    Linux Mint also has Cinnamon.

    No configuration required, just need Chrome. Never been easier to remote Desktop (Works even on Linux, it's just an add-on for Chrome)

    Computer Manufacturers do that because it pays them. They get money that drives the cost down of the computer so you get a better price I mean they get more money. If it bothers you that much it's called format it and do it yourself.

    PS: just build the computer yourself you lazy ass, it isn't that hard.     Serious answer, so that you can fulfill your promise: add a clause about the game saying "I promise to release this game to the public if funded OR if I can't for some unforseen circumstance, release all assets including source code and art into [public domain or CC or your license you want here]"

    Unless the screen is OLED, the answer to "does dark sites save power?" is a flat out NO.

    That being said, reading white text on a black background looks a lot better on monitors because the entire background is not light emitting.

    I gave up on Ubuntu really early (9.04) but I moved to Arch and haven't looked back since. Give it a try, but don't expect it to hold your hand.
