    Very true. Just look up National Geographic "Flight" issue. All photos were taken with a "crappy" 6 Megapixel Nikon D1X.

    What's the big deal with web-based mail? It is slow, ineffective and you are lucky if you get a decent handle. (mailto:isyewf656@hotmail.com). IMAP rules all the way.

    I'm still going to wait to see what PalmOS 6 has to offer. And $300 is still about the max I want to pay for a phone+pda.

    After much thinking and looking, I got my self an Olympus E-1. So much better than the 10D anyway. Spot meter, lenses that actually fit, weather sealing (You aren't a nature photographer until you have photographed in blinding storm), predictable focus and better colours straight from the camera.
    If you think you have yourself cheated, check out the mobile phone market. I'll bet you could turn few $100 teen-phones into $300 exective version by firmware update.

    As a career developer, and computer hobbyist going back to around 1982 I can assure you, I'm no newbie to PC's
    Well, easy for you to know, being the expert and all, but what about your aunt Hilda? Would she know?

    What benefits? Lousy CSS support? No PNG support? Using document ending rather than mimetype to determint its type?
    Security holes or not, people will use what's easy, convenient, and full featured if they can fine one item that matches each of those pieces of criteria.
    Having worm/virus on your computer is neither easy, convenient or full featured.
    I have been using Mozilla and related browsers for few years now, and I have forgotten about pop-ups, or >object< trojans.
