    their firefox blockers (if they know what they're doing) is server side.. so no that doesn't stop it... BUT you can just switch your user agent

    seems like they fail to realize that anyone on any computer can download a host file that points common ad servers back to the localhost making them not load. In addition, there is software out there kinda like ad block that automatically downloads and updates your systems host file to makes ads not load. ON ANY BROWSER... blocking firefox seems like a waste of time

    that everyone on THIS PAGE is wearing goggles... what good is mid air 3D animation if you can't even look at it without eye protection?


    Also I would like to add everytime something cool comes out like this the article is all good until the bottom where they have to go and say it's good for street signs and advertising

    u people are simple

    the they can't stop people.. is just incentive

    what my argument was really about... is that they should realize that it could actually be PROFITABLE for them to let stuff be distributed like this...

    infact THEY should get a you tube account and put up the episodes them self (with a watermark and a lower res quality perhaps)...

    I can promise there are people who had never heard of a show until they happened to catch a clip on you tube and now watch new episodes of the show regularly... thats certain
    (no particular show.. just TV shows in general)

    and I'm also pretty sure that very few people watch episodes on Youtube INSTEAD of on tv

    in summation, what I was getting at is they need to not attack youtube but realize it is a blessing to their ratings... it's free advertising for their shows and does WAAAY more good then harm YES it's their property and YES they can go ahead and sue if they want HOWEVER I'm just saying it's dumb move they're better off leaving it alone

    They should realize that they can't STOP people from distributing videos like this... and accept the fact that it serves as free advertising for their shows. sure THEIR ads are not in it.. but it's like an AD for people to watch there ad... they should sue Tivo too for letting people skip commercials (did that already happen?.. meh whatever)

    they wouldn't partner with Linux companies...

    they would simply release (and they have the man power to do it EASILY) a software package for linux compatible with all versions for like $50 or whatever.. that includes all the Codecs and drivers and whatever else.. basically everything that they're partners are getting out of them... and just sell it to the community directly

    what this article means by Corporate vs Community is versions that are freely available vs ones that you HAVE to pay for

    no no no no... u don't want a bunch of 2 GB flash cards... or the 16 GB...

    what you're looking for is a Solid State Hard Drive

    they're already consumer available, but expensive as hell but not as bad as the figures here for simply multiplying the price of small flash cards. On the bright side they're way faster and CAN be smaller for more space

    yea i've had the same thing with setting people up with firefox and then like a month later going back and see them using IE... I never could understand it

    For my little sisters I got rid of every trace of IE icons on their whole computer... that made it stick

    Anyways... a solution

    They should have a check box default to checked in the install that says Make Firefox my default browser...
    and.. maybe another that says remove all IE icons from my computer (people don't read they just click "Next")

    OR

    The community needs to start making bigger, meaner, scarier, security flaw utilizing virus' to attack IE
    kidding.. sorta ;-)

    OR... because pres bush allocated 1.2 billion for hydrogen car research.

    BUT he's still a jack ass 'cause the way he wants to do it the hydrogen will be produced by fossil fuels which will produce MORE emissions and use more fossil fuel do to a loss in efficiency. References:

    HOWEVER it also says in this part that it needs to be viewed from 180 (straight on)... which would make it invisible to passing vehicles almost always and i'd imagine since it's "not as bright as a standard LCD" that the sun light will just wash it out anways...

    cool tech honestly.. but mostly useless I say
