Taking money from hardworking people and giving it to non-hardworking people
For the last damn time, poor != lazy! I don't claim to know enough about the healthcare bill and whatnot to know whether it's good or bad. But I do know there are millions of poor people who work just as hard and harder than the wealthy and are just unlucky or in an impossible situation, and this attitude that a lot of people seem to have about them is total bullshit. If you don't want the government taking money from you, fine, that's a perfectly legitimate position. But don't try to make it sound less like greed by acting like you're any better than the single mom working two jobs to support her kids because her dipshit husband left her.
I'm sure there are plenty of legitimate reasons to be against Obama and whatever he's doing, but this attitude that he's taking money from 'good, hardworking people' to give it to those 'lazy bastards down the street' is NOT one of them. Get off your horse.

What the heck is 'antisocial driving'? A car driving separate from the other cars because it is shy and lacks social skills?

The author is saying that Edison's idea could give you a lot of books in one object, like a Kindle does; the relation he is drawing has nothing to do with downloadable content.
Jeebus, at least RTFS, please. It's saying that launching *more frequently* than they do now *would make* NASA a success. It does not say that NASA is currently a success.
*Also*, on an *unrelated* note, I *like* asterisks.
He replied to you, because you were flaming an audio guy for saying that professional audio stuff doesn't work on Linux. Our audiophile friend was saying this not because he thinks that Linux must support every specialist program ever, but as a counter to the post above his that said that Linux is the right tool for everything. The gent that replied to you was point out that you should've read the GP before posting.
Secondly how come Google's own Google Maps works better on the iPhone than Android phones? It should be the other way round...after all it's their product.
Probably the same reason I can click the back button in Gmail and have it work in Firefox but not in Chrome.
I've been watching this topic for a few hours and if nothing else, it's entertaining to see the more inflammatory posts rise and fall and rise and fall again. Someone should perform a study on it and tell us what it means.
Wouldn't the pirates just go around the rope? I mean, if it's got a big parachute attached to it, it can't be that hard to see what the merchants are doing...
I call BS. With Bing, I get 5 results on the first page talking about Macs being expensive, and NONE about Windows being expensive. With Google, I get 1 about Macs being expensive (also note it is the second to last one, not the first one), and 6 about Windows being expensive.
There is definitely something fishy going on here.
You say that like you're of the opinion of that Blizzard releases buggy, unpolished games. I'm pretty sure that's exactly the opposite of what they're known for.
Read the rest of his post, guy. His point isn't that it's not free, but that any service that accepts money from you is gonna have to keep some kind of records of those payments; therefore it's not fully anonymous.

Why thank you sir.
Here, let me Google that for you.

Add in the fact that they require you to preorder the game to get into their "open" beta, and I'm inclined to agree.
It is not an *open* beta if I have to preorder the game to get in.

Let me spell it out for you, sir.

Everything they say on there is true and is backed up by science-based organizations.

...we're *not* all gonna die? Shocking, I tell you, shocking.
Yes, I've been there. I didn't like it. Philly/DC/NYC are all much nicer/more interesting in my opinion.
No, Chicago lost the bid because Chicago is a horrible, horrible place.
Or he could've done the whole 'click the FAQ button' thing on the PAX site and had his question answered in the very first line.
I'm not telling where it is though.

And no, I don't play WoW.
So where is it?
Blast! I had just escaped the apostrophe Nazis too.
I didn't realize armadillo's could fly at all, much less suborbitally.

Now nuclear war won't be so bad.
