Fury Road's not a remake. It's another sequel, with Max still living out his life in the wasteland, having fallen further and further into madness, wracked with guilt and memories of people he failed to save (namely his family).
Advocates of social progress and civil equality always eventually emerge victorious, and the stubborn, narrow-minded bigots clinging to the status quo always eventually lose.
Recognizing that the wording in the Constitution is often vague and open to interpretation, and suggesting that historical context is useful when examining the content, is not "revisionism". One of the oldest political debates since the birth of the US and the ratification of the Constitution, along side size/role of government, was whether in how literally to obey the words in the Constitution.
There's something sort of romantic about the idea of the citizenry being able to arm themselves to defend against sudden government tyranny, but I have to wonder if a modern "militia" could really stand up against things like tanks and missile strikes. This isn't the 18th century anymore, so I'm not sure that the spirit behind the 2nd ammendment is all that relevant these days. That said, I'm not really opposed to people being free to defend their home/property/family or to engage in sport like hunting, but let's call a spade a spade and stop acting like we're defending ourselves from the red coats.
It doesn't matter if she used to be a Playboy model, or if she used to build skyscrapers, or if she used to be a circus performer: the only thing that's relevant is that she's not and never has been a medical professional. She's just as wrong as any other anti-vaxxer, the fact that she posed naked for a magazine doesn't make her more wrong and doesn't specifically have any bearing on what she knows or doesn't know.
Actually, I said a majority (I used the word "largely") of the males involved in e-sports (a very tiny niche minority of all men) behave that way. Not sure how pointing out an observable statistic of a subset means I hate an entire set of people, or how such strawmen can be considered "insightful".
Or maybe it's because that 90% majority of males is largely toxic, vulgar, immature, misogynist, and unwelcoming, and say shit like "OMFG A WOMAN IS HERE!" and tell women what they should do or say or feel about the men who act that way.
Historically speaking, America is a teenager compared to Europe. The overconfidence and smugness is typical. If the US lasts a few hundred more years, it'll likely be more humble and mellow about things. Right now, it still feels like it has something to prove and that it's invincible.
The simplest answer to all of your questions is "Privacy, if you care about that."
Bitcoin and its ilk are usually referred to as "cryptocurrencies". The idea is to have a system where exchange of goods and services cannot be tracked back to individuals. Right now supposedly the government can monitor everything you buy, or at the very least request records of what you buy from your bank. And, again supposedly, Bitcoin is meant to be anonymous. It's appealing to people who are really into that sort of thing.
Just because they're ineffective against tanks and drones doesn't mean they're incapable of killing groups of innocent, unarmed people with little effort.
But nice work on the false dichotomy. It was almost believable.
If you care at all about video games in general, why would you pirate this game in light of the amazing treatment CD Projekt is giving gamers? Absolutely no DRM, play-anywhere, and an astounding pre-release bonus package.
I'm normally opposed to devs going all vigilante and hunting down pirates, but I think in this particular situation, I think Wither 2 pirates really deserve some sort of punishment, whether legal or physical.
If you pirate this game, you are a dick, plain and simple.
Just looking for clarification... is the amount she owes changing, or are all of those actually "different" charges that add up together to over $3.2 million?
Come off it. All this does is send a message that game publishers can be influenced by a vocal minority of people who have nothing to do with video games.

Maybe not in terms of the planet's population, but in many industries and in positions of power and authority, men are still a majority.
You don't typically go to a Mad Max movie for the plot.
I can't hear you over this tiny, tiny violin.
P.S. have any of these idiots ever heard of the Streisand Effect?
Their ideology that the world is perfectly fair how it is, and if you want to change anything, then you hate capitalism and America.

I'm sure it's a majority, but 99.9% is extremely, naively, high.

Sensible changes to how one legally acquires a gun and increased penalties for violence. Nobody's TERKIN YER GERNS. See how easy that is?
Hurricane Irene says 'hi'.
...we can't have nice things.
No, TechTV was consumed by G4 and then dissolved.
I don't think there are any constants in nature.
Pi would like a word with you.

I noticed the Macbook appeared to be running Windows 7 for some reason, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me. It did not look like a Mac desktop.
>To begin with 99% of commercial games don't even have a Linux version, so there's nothing to sell to Linux gamers.
You could have said the same thing about Macs earlier this year. The rest of your points make sense, but this is a silly comment to make.
