Foxit is a great piece of software. Except it has far too many Regressions. It is not uncommon for the v2.0 to *outperform both v2.3 and 3.x and in some cases v2.0 is able to do things that the "improved" versions completely choke on.
As well, Foxit Reader still hasn't resolved the printing issue, where it overwhelms the printer spool - it's possibly printer driver issues, but one that other PDF software is not affected by.
(*) Outperforms in both speed and quality of the visual display.
Except everything you list, is doable with Nlite. THe Menu options for MyComputer are in Nlites "Tweaks" section. And irfanView et al, is just a matter of including SilentInstaller apps, i.e one of Nlites subforums: Application Add-Ons
This can also be done with HFSLIP, though not guified, and would require you to include the.REG files for the rightClick options. Or create a Win2K install without any trace of Internet Explorer with HFSLIP +FDV's Filesets.
An action/simulation of copy/paste would resolve most of this (in Windows at least).
In nearly any instance I can think of, you are either:
1) (Works Always ) Dragging a File to another App.
2) (Works Sometimes) Dragging Selected (Formatted) Text to another App.
3) (Works Sometimes) Dragging a Selected Object
)) Either an embedded object like in an Editor.
)) Or An embedded element, i.e. image in a browser.
In almost all the cases above, copy/paste will work, and drag&drop may or may not work. When text/objects are copied to the (windows) clipboard a lot of additional information (formatting or mime info) is included - this can be seen in any number of ClipBoard Content viewers.
Air Force testing new transparent armor
"ALONtm is virtually scratch resistant, offers substantial impact resistance, and provides better durability and protection against armor piercing threats, at roughly half the weight and half the thickness of traditional glass transparent armor", said the lieutenant.
That's easy enough to understand, just compare the English dubbed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to the original with subtitling. Albeit some in my direct family prefer the English version. I literally couldn't stand it. When you take something that is Art and dub it, it becomes something else - more easily digestible media perhaps. Easy to digest, and bland.
The Promise of NT
In order to deliver NT as an entirely new operating system, Microsoft assembled a design team of engineers lead by Dave Cutler, who was hired from DEC. Cutler had worked on DEC' VMS, which was the main OS contender against Unix in the higher end workstation market. NT's design reflects many conventions of VMS, although it also included many new ideas.
DOS was purchased from Patterson, whom has admitted to hacking CP/M. And if you go back a few years, you'll see that CP/M was based on a DEC's operating system. So while Bill/MS didn't write DOS from scratch that was sold to IBM, MS didn't just outright steal CP/M either.
Well its been almost a month. Technology changes very rapidly, and JollyRoger wants to know "Is there any better advice these days?" Since, you know, last month. Lets see there was Gbridge, PathSync, DirSync Pro, Jake, SyncToy v2.0, Unison File Synchronizer, cron run rsync's, and JBOD in a Storage Tower from Addonics. Since you know technology changes so rapidly, you'd definitely want to trust your backups to something bleeding new. And "these days" are so much better than "those days".
Even the things that are claimed to be recycled by Major Corporations frequently aren't. There are far too many landfills in third world countries. Paying the local govt or community a small stipend versus the comparative exorbitant recycling cost.
Yeah Dungeon Siege had pretty much every skin tone you could think of. Too bad DS2 was so pisspoor of a sequel.

Hmm never heard of W-CDMA before. UMTS sure. Ah well guess I'll need to verify my brain against wikipedia in the future.
WOOSH.
Except AT&T and the iPhone are GSM not CDMA.
So what is your preteen teaching you about Galaxy Zoo, you should enlighten us.
Really? I think in the last two years, I've only seen 2 or 3 spam messages total.
As opposed to a newly created Hotmail account that received 1 spam msg before the day was out, and ~2 spam msg's every week or so.
As opposed to my yahoo acct, that I've had for 6+ years, and have used for anything that required an email online -- that gets ~14 spams a week.
Then the spammers must not be using translate.google.com, because that has enabled me to read websites and boards in german, russian and romanian.
Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese "Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese is 100% real Parmesan cheese" vs KRAFT Parmesan, which also comes in a 33% less fat option.

Sure...but I don't notice it's closed captioned after a few minutes either hehe.

Repeating something doesn't make it true.

Maybe they're getting kickbacks from Colin Holder
PowerSquids, or decently priced Cable & Cord Organizers
As well there are things like the ChargePod bundle or Charge4All's solution. The much hyped powermat which has made the rounds at CES and other geeky tradeshows hasn't hit the consumer market yet.
"Until Fairly recently" - as in 4 years ago.

Turn it into a Hong Kong.

What example, the summary looked like one big disjointed collection of links. Why not make the whole summary a link and be done with it.
Me neither, Just...one..more...turn "Sid Meier's" :-)
