For physical security including access and lockout, having *any* wireless sensor is downright stupid, nevermind if it is zwave, zigbee or $FOO-FROM-2025. Wireless listeners can be DOSed very easily, very cheaply and very reliably.
Dumb NO/NC wired listeners are incredibly hard to DOS and require actual breaking and entering to achieve. And when you do, you only manage to kill a single sensor at a time. When you flood the airwaves with junk signal of the correct wavelength, you effectively shutdown the listeners ability to report sensibly, and you do it from over the fence, 20 times throughout the night until the building security finally gives up and turns the system off.
As already pointed out to you - freelancers aren't entrepreneurs. They're just employees without benefits. They tend to be young and/or inexperienced for a reason - older people are harder to take advantage of.

After grad school I started a consulting company and had multiple active clients at any given time. Right now I work a full time job, coach two youth sports teams during the winter and am very active on the board of a non-profit. My wife currently works as a MD at up to 3 different hospitals/labs in a given week. My mother worked a full time job, often a second part time job, got her college degree and put my sister and I through private school. Frankly the notion that it is impossible to do more than one job is absurd unless you take a job you physically cannot handle.

Another few years and they'll see the people they're willingly associating with, perhaps retain the views, and be willing to actually have a logical discussion. I've (very politely) been pointing out the lack of evidence every time I see evidence-less claim from the usual crowd; once you take the usual soundbites out of the discussion by pointing out that they are not valid assumptions then any normal person would repeat it less often. For example,
The argument that there were more female coders in the 80's/eastern countries, hence it must be misogyny that keeps them out? Well, in the 80's/eastern countries women had/have fewer choices. Females in tech is inversely correlated with the number of options they have.
Male privilege? White women are by far and away the most well-off demographic in the world by every measurable standard of living metric.
Brain differences? Depending on what is being claimed, you'll either see "there is no difference" or "there are physiological differences", often both from the same person (AmiMoJo makes both claims, often in the same thread).
