"It's easy to point fingers at Microsoft for a faulty OS, but with Apple also suddenly suffering from the same type of security problems, I have to wonder if it isn't related to the choice of application processor."
I'll bet that's why Linux users get so many viruses.
First, make sure your client is properly configured, firewalled, etc. Then tell him to invite the M$ weenie to demonstrate how easily the system can be hacked.
For every month I use Ubuntu, my penis grows three inches longer, so every couple of months I switch back to Windows and after a few weeks, it's back to normal. I would try OS X, but a friend had it, and he turned gay.
Think of it this way. Using Linux is like marrying a virgin and both of you staying true to each other forever. One of you could still get an STD, but it won't be from screwing each other. Using Windows is like screwing a different NYC crack whore every Saturday night. You will maybe not get infected if you use enough protection.
I've bought three mail-order laptops through AAFES. No hassle, you can use your Military Star card, and you have recourse through AAFES if the vendor screws up. I highly recommend ordering through AAFES to all military folks.
Gates reminds me of the Hollywood airheads who, feeling guilty about getting so much money for doing nothing of value, attempt to buy back their souls by championing some nitwit cause. If he really wants to do something constructive, he should fix the Crapware he foisted on the world.
Not even close. Edsels were a commercial failure, but they were perfectly capable cars, on par with most American made cars of the time. Vista, to use a car analogy, is a Cadillac chassis with a Yugo engine.
Why DO you have to reboot your routers? Mine, including a WR54GT almost never require rebooting. Occasionally, after a power outage, it's necessary, but not very often. Maybe once or twice a year, and I live in Panama, where power interruptions come fairly frequently.
....is that all geeks are queer, so don't even bother trying to hit on girls. You're welcome.

Fookin' Nazi shithead moron bastards can go fuck themselves.
I call them "girls" or "nancy-boys".
...did anyone get the idea that Microsoft and IT bear any relationship to each other?

Never mind that. How will it stand up to being sewed inside a patient's abdomen?
There, fixed that for you.

Maybe if they had put them inside on a desk and not outside on the ground, they wouldn't be junk
"it makes any attack fairly useless on a correctly configured machine using IE. " There is no such thing as a "correctly configured" machine using IE.

Anything Rev. Gore says that is not flat-out silly is worthy of note.

...for those of you who thought all the idiots were in Washington.
...which is a good thing, there being so few brains in TSA. Security theater at its best.
That pretty well sums up the entire Microsoft experience.
Well, let's see. 64/32 = 2. Yup, twice the size sounds about right.
OK,everyone who needed to be told that you can't trust Microsoft, raise your hand.
I hope she takes the Nazis to the cleaners.
Let me know when they dump Windows.
I think most folks would be happy just to get a high-quality Windows experience on any computer.
