Or you could go here: http://www.watchfarscape.com/
They're both actually the same site, which unfortunalty seems to be slashdotted or having other issues at the present time.
There is a lot of good stuff on the site from campaigns to get another network to pick up the show to an actual viewer funded consortium who's goal is to raise the funds to partially finance Season 5 as incentive for another network (or Sci-Fi i guess) to pick up the show.
So copy down that URL and take a look when the site is responsive once again!:)
Simple... because it WAS NOT supposed to be the last show. There was supposed to be an ENTIRE season after this episode to conclude the enture Farscape storyline.
Sadly, Sci-Fi cancelled the show AFTER they had already made ALL the episodes for Season 4, thus there was no way to change anything.
Hopefully another network will pick up Farscape for Season 5 so we can all actually see the end of the 4 year story.
Ok, the neowin server is sporadically serving pages as it's load fluctuates...
Just finished reading all 16 pages, not a bad little write up, bit sparse on some details at times and also some of the info isn't 100% correct... otherwise it's a nice overview of Windows from v1.0 to the latest versions.
Before the server stopped serving pages... interesting to see tho, the server just pops up a "server too busy, try again later" message instead of just barfing all over the place!
Because the *keyboard* has no idea what's actually ON the screen, nor does it really care.
The application could watch the Caps Lock status and do what you want, but I would imagine most decent word processors already have a method to do what you suggest.
"Software Development Keyboard - No numeric keypad"
Only problem with no numeric keypad is you would need to have some other way to do the ALT-Numeric Keypad trick to get characters that aren't typeable.
"Arrow keys are in inverted "T" pattern like God intended."
I refuse to buy any keyboard that screws around with the arrow keys, period! (ie: I like my inverted T, like God intended!)
"*nix Keyboard - Has no shift key (just kidding)"
+2, Funny!
"Has the punctuation marks and numerics reversed on the keys along the top for easier shell script writing (must press Shift + $ to get a "4")."
That would defiantly take some getting used to methinks, especially when using a "normal" keyboard.
"L33T 5p34k Keyboard - Looks remarkably like a cellphone, except the letters and numbers are randomly jumbled up."
You can have one of these today, just spill half a can of coke on your keyboard and wait for it to dry.;)
I got a 1.82mb email containing 86,270 addresss... no that's not a typo. Eighty-Six THOUSAND addresses!
Guess I got a free mailing list containig a pretty high ratio of "good" addresses... sigh, sadly my own email addy was in there so now that I am not longer dealing with Network Solutions I will set the address to bounce everything.
Tables may not have been *intended* for layout but they definatly wound up being used that way by virtually anyone who wanted to... well, layout a page.;)
Remember, the TABLE tag has been in existance for a significant period of time longer then the newfangled CSS tags.
I agree, everyone should use CSS and migrate away from obsolete tags like FONT and TABLE, however, the use of FONT and TABLE at least ensures some backwards compatability with browsers that don't understand CSS and/or who's CSS implementation is borked.
And no, telling everyone to upgrade to the latest/best browser just isn't always an option.
boxen/bok'sn/ (By analogy with VAXen) A fanciful plural of box often encountered in the phrase "Unix boxen", used to describe commodity Unix hardware. The connotation is that any two Unix boxen are interchangeable.

Right, however the blank discs will likely have the "key sectors" pre-burned to 0's, and the price of the blank medium will quitw probably cost the same, if not more, then the movie you want to "archive".
Just buy the movies on DVD and use the DVD burner for your pr0n^Wbackups.;)
Sadly, I agree... but it has enough fanboi's to keep it going, and the author does come up with some funny strips now and then. :)
Do you want to help to try and SAVE FARSCAPE?!

It's not the quality of the film that is being made fun of, it's the atrocious quality of the SUBTITLES on said film.
It was like they used a speech-to-text translator to create the subtitles, they were really that bad.

Hmm, try a google search for "northwest passage" then...
;)
Looks like a *lot* of misinformed people out there who believe it exists by the looks of it.
I just read that for the third time... it is definatly a great short-story.
:)
And yes, I would love to have a sheet of Slow Glass myself.
Actually, you got that email from the source for the page, the actual form itself has no email address information in it...
;)
I couldn't get any relevant information, other then errors, trying to pass, uh... "interesting" data to the form.
Eep, I am the moron... I missed the first link with the hardware stuff.
:)
Was referring to the second link which talks about a hardware mod but says NOT to do it.
Sorry about that!
Perhaps you might want to read the article?
These are SOFTWARE MODS, so no soldering required.
Heck, it doesn't even seem that this guy can get the URL's to Segway's website correct.
;)
I think perhaps someone needs to inform him that domain names can't actually have a space in them!
That and perhaps take a few photography/videography lessons... ah well, wonder how much Segway paid for the ad?
Actually, the "mac icon" is the Segway HT icon on the actual machine itself.
Check out some more of the images on his site.
Well, that is just TOO funny, no wonder MS pulled that "article" down so fast...
Well that and the fact that is' just so much marketing hype it's not even funny.
Not to say that Apple's "switch" campaign isn't either, but at least thiers has a bit of flair.
Got me, tho "boexn" just sounds better to me then "boxes". ;)
It's also acceptable according to the Jargon File so hey... Boxen it is!

How the hell was my post "overrated"?
It was directly to the point at hand, that the word "boxen" is a valid "word" in use by many people.
Yeesh.
Maybe you need to go visit dictionary.com?

Go enter "dvd scsi" and check out how many results you get for DVD SCSI drives... RAM and ROM flavours too.
