I honestly don't want either party in power in either place. It's become so blatantly obvious in the past few years that neither party has the interests of Americans in mind, only the interests of lobbyists and gaining power for themselves. Although, I have to admit having differing parties in each location would slow down the screwing our grandchildren are getting. Though with two different parties, nothing would get done to fix the problem because they'd be too busy fighting the whole time. We might as well just keep a single party in power so we can get the screwing out of the way now and move on to a new form of government when this one collapses.
All of those items are "necessary" for the country to function, with the exception of the convention center, though that is more accessible than the others. Most people don't expect to gain all access to a courthouse or federal building.
A Spaceport is really pushing that line of "necessary" spending by the government, though I can see the argument for it. It's better to make something like that a little more accessible so the taxpayers don't whine as much.

Sometimes a hand drawing can convey so much more than a fancy photo-realistic rendering. I wouldn't dare show my client a photo-realistic rendering in an early design phase. It makes the design look "concrete" and final, as if no more changes are to be made. A hand drawing can convey the concept much easier to most people.
For those of you who aren't fucking retarded, it means the markup is roughly one hundred per cent.
